I hated counting my tips when I worked at Tim Horton's. In 3 weeks I'd get ~100$ in quarters and smaller that I wouldn't spend and I'd have to roll it or else grow a pile of coins in the middle of my bedroom floor as the piggy bank overflowed.

I imagine that that's how dumb you'd have to be to actually think counting qualifies as remotely hard math. Or math at all.

I'm almost certain that you're interpreting it wrong. What i get from this is that one would rather work and earn money than stay in school and learn(math for example). While I personally don't care much for this kind of mentality I can see why people would.
