Small Song Bug
Not sure if this is happening for anybody else, but the song "Yukitsuki-yashou" under the "Secret" genre has an audio cut-off on the R^3 Beta Engine. Right around note #95 or so, the song stops playing completely. You can still see the arrows and hit them, but there is no audio in the background at all. Not really a huge bug, but I was just reporting it in.

Just did a play through. No problems on my end.
Are you using standalone or in browser? If browser, what browser are you using?

Re: Small Song Bug
No, you're right. It's a non-30fps issue.

Re: Small Song Bug
I just noticed this myself. Is there a reason why it hasn't been fixed yet? The song sounds like it would be really nice to play without having to change a bunch of settings for it

Re: Small Song Bug
I'll try and converting a new version of the file tonight to see if that at least alleviates the issue -- it might have something to do with the way that the song is encoded before being converted to a .swf; it certainly doesn't hurt to try. It's strange to see non-legacy files randomly being problematic for no real reason.
If the songs in question have frame fixes, I can take the old beatbox array from the previous file and apply it to the new one, shifting it as necessary to appropriately match the offset of the song. |

Re: Small Song Bug
The song file needs to be remade + maybe resync'd or something. Quote:
EDIT: Arg late response, if you can reconvert that'd be awesome. Note that the problem also exists with Call Upon the Seaponies

Re: Small Song Bug
Yeah, I'll take a look at all of the files and see if the new versions of each file fixes the problem. When in doubt, typically a reconversion of audio before .swf creation does the trick. I'll do it in between file judgment (have a bit of work to do in that regard).

Re: Small Song Bug
This might be necessary. The issue is that the audio inside the swf is corrupt. In 30fps mode flash is a bit more lenient about corruption because it's treated as streaming audio, so it's able to recover on the next frame. In 31+fps mode it's more treated like one audio file and corruption just causes it to give up entirely.
