House of Leaves
Has anyone ever read it? I'm only about 75 pages in and it's quite the interesting read. I hear that the more you read it the more it really gets inside your head.

Re: House of Leaves
Bravo for getting through chapter 4 or 5 (spacial recognition bullshit)
Read it a few years ago, still one of my favorite books. You'll start hating Johnny Truant because he's an idiot with terrible run-on sentences essentially, but zampano's story is absolutely astonishing. Wait until you get to upper 400s - lower 500s and you'll shit your pants with wtf the books doing.

Re: House of Leaves
This is probably my favorite single book of all time js
except that truant's segments really sucked, he just bones a ton of random girls and flips out occasionally.

Re: House of Leaves
The Navidson Record on its own would have been a great book. The rest of it was garbage.
Also, get your crappy art out of my book. If I wanted art while I was reading, I'd read a book on art. Flipping a page around 50 times to read the text you've put in a big-ass spiral all the way around the page just makes me want to not read the book. |
