Re: TWC Rules, Policies, Etc.
we judge each case individually, I don't see why everyone has a problem with that. we're not gonna come up with a working rubric that will cover every situation

I stopped playing for about 10 games, can't remember which numbers i stopped/started on. The general intelligence levels of the game has gone down a lot, which has then lead to me being motivated to sign up for the game because I want to try and help people, but then when the game starts I get bored quite easily and then have no motivation to post, because i'm fearful I'll sound like a wolf if i try and post anything helpful!! Then there is the other problem of time zones, as was mentioned by heavy (i think). It doesn't help me for AIM activity if I'm 5-7 hours ahead of you guys (I'm in the UK), as when i can get online, noone else is! |

Re: TWC Rules, Policies, Etc.
I would like the three unbiased members of the TWC to take a look at the current TWG game and tell BDN if I did anything wrong.
Makilaz and I cannot be parts of the desicion because we are too close to the situation. It's my thought that Both games are human victories, and BDN only cancelled the games because they were over.

if i'm considered unbiased, which i doubt i am, i'm voting with manti that both games were fair human wins

I'm probably too biased for the 2nd one, but if not, I'm voting human victory for the first, draw for the second, since Manti did break the rules by selling out the wolves after conversion.

Re: TWC Rules, Policies, Etc.
I vote we make new rules which are concurrent with the level of play at the moment. There need to be some clear cut rules. AKA:
1. No talking face to face in real life 2. No flaming 3. No sharing game info or talking with the dead about TWG 4. No swearing haha just had to throw #4 in there. But ya, I don't think people have actually read the rules. If there were a newer set up, I think they would be more inclined to read them. |

Re: TWC Rules, Policies, Etc.
I disagree with the new rules idea. All of them. Rules are implemented at the start of each game. Limiting people of emotions and expressions only hinders the game. Swearing and flaming show emotions. Emotions play an important part of TWG. Censoring never does any good.
Talking to the dead is fine if no resurrections are in game and if players aren't retarded. Not condoned, but not illegal if people know what they're doing.

No new overall rules. The host can decide what the ground rules are, and yes, swearing is allowed. There's a profanity filter for a reason.

Re: TWC Rules, Policies, Etc.
haha guys, the swearing one was a joke. Calm down! :P I don't know I just think some people are going beyond what they should be allowed to do in this game. Who knows though, maybe it is adapting into a whole new kind of game than what I am used to.

Re: TWC Rules, Policies, Etc.
Sorry to bump but I must say that if the demand of TWG increases anymore I think we should add a new level. Like jTWG and TWG next we should have a jjTWG (junior x2) or something. Becasue the new jTWG players are easily good enough to play in TWG it's just there is no more room these days ><

Re: TWC Rules, Policies, Etc.
jTWG and TWG are enough levels as it is. Adding more will just make the system needlessly complicated.

Re: TWC Rules, Policies, Etc.
But what do we do if the game becomes so popularly demanded that both sections are filled?

Re: TWC Rules, Policies, Etc.
There was a thought about adding an i(ntermediate)TWG a while back but it was shot down.
I don't really think we should add another level of TWG. What should happen, is we should set the times for player signups again. In this way, All the people that really want in the game and have an intention of playing know when to sign on to sign up. I don't see any point of adding another level of TWG anyway when we still have inactives in the current format. If every single player was active in both the TWG and jTWG games, and other people still wanted in, I could see it happening, but not untill then.
