If you consider trance to fall into the Techno genre I would suggest B0UNC3, {DJ N}, and BassHunter.

K people it's not called techno!!! They're are things called SUB GENRES!!! Depends on what style you want. For example: Speedcore / Hardcore go with Sharpnel

I recommend atleast getting a taste for Jumpstyle. The only bad thing: There's a good portion of mainstream artists that are sub-par at best, so get some indie stuff if you can.

I'm not really sure what to suggest because, as verra said, "techno" doesn't really tell me much. Trance? Vocal trance? House? Hard style? Hardcore? Breakbeat? I'll list off a few classic anthems, gems that no ones ever heard of, and songs that I just plain like. If you like what you hear, look into more stuff from that artist.

Now, they're about as imaginative as a rock.

Sorry for the misconception. I generalize music genres to myself. So, when I say Techno, I mean Techno/Trace/Electronica/House/Club/etc. Anything that can be remotely associated.
