Re: One Handed or Two??
In my entire FFR life I've had to have seen at least 200 of these kinds of threads.

Re: One Handed or Two??
There are more threads like this than players on FFR
One Handed makes accuracy a LOT easier, and it doesn't limit your ability to play, but does make it slower to get good at faster songs. The generally preffered style is spread, with index/middle on down and left and the other hands index/middle on up and right (or 6 and 8, usually 6 and 8). This is by far the easiest style to get good at, but if you are a one-hander and switch to it, don't expect to switch back. Once you start playing spread (as I did) you won't be ABLE to switch back to one hand three fingers, it just hurts A LOT. Really it all boils down to what is most comfortable/fun. Every style has it's ups and downs (except index, it's like spread except with half the fingers, there is really no point). Really though, much as I hate to say it, most people will tell you that spread is the best (especially high-tier one-handers). |

Re: One Handed or Two??
Yea, I've found that I haven't been able to go back to one-handed either. In fact I think I might suck worse at it now than when I actually started playing the game.
You are saying more if you say you can FC Delirium one-handed than if you say you can do it two-handed, but I can't even imagine how much time it would take to get that good one-handed.

Re: One Handed or Two??
I definitely can't FC Delirium one-handed. I actually haven't tried much to FC much...been busy trying to make my fingers faster lately. So I've been concentrating on fast songs like CIA Rave, Max Forever (for the back and forth parts...tires out certain forearm muscles insanely fast) and every so often I try out Gradeus to see if I've gotten any faster. The only trouble I have on delirium is all the doubles...I always mess up eventually.

That being said, 3-finger is pretty much a superior style in every way to index, unless you have a very weak right middle finger...so yeah, I'd recommend that if you don't like spread for some reason.
