stepmania.ini missing
I just got my new laptop (vista, goodbye ffr), and I installed SM 3.9, but stepmania.ini is missing from my Data folder, I looked it up everywhere but I can't find it.
The thing is that sm runs fine, I would be careless about this, but now every song seems to be offbeat, I know I can fix the overallgap or something with .ini, BUT I DON'T HAVE IT! D: What can I do? I tried to re-install everything, also I tried using 3.95 but I got some Selectmusic missing error. Help Please! D:

Re: stepmania.ini missing
When you open up the Stepmania folder in your program files, beside the thumbnails for Organize, Views, etc. you'll notice one that says Compatibility Files. Click on it and you'll find it in the Data folder in there as well as the Screenshots folder.
Hopefully that should solve your problem.

Re: stepmania.ini missing
No problem.
Also, if you find that the Screenshots folder is a hassle to get to, just cut and paste it back into the Stepmania folder. It still works that way and it's easier to get to. I'm pretty sure this applies for the ini files too, if you just cut paste them back to the original folder. I'm not exactly sure what the hell's the point of Compatibility Files though and I've been running Vista for almost two years now, rofl.
