Grrrr I can't AAA this song. I can't read the arrows at about 920 combo.... they're too close together

Re: 4th Official FFR Tournament - Round 4.
There are some complicated jump patterns as far as reading wise (believe me, I've played enough KB charts to know how patterns overlap.)--but, I've practiced on low speeds before, so it didn't pose a prob. If worst comes to worst, go into your replays, go to the problem spot, and memorize it! I had to do that on GGC when I was trying to FC it back about 1 year ago or so.
Not trying to be an asshole or anything, but throughout this tournament, all I've seen is "THIS CHART SUCKS CAUSE I CAN'T AAA IT" or "PUT HARDER STUFF" etc. I'm sorry, there's a saying for something like this...if you have nothing good to say about it, don't say it, for christ's sake. I know that I just violated the saying, but it's for a good reason. Last edited by TC_Halogen; 07-6-2008 at 02:00 PM.. |

Re: 4th Official FFR Tournament - Round 4.
I'm just so used to C800+ in stepmania. This file is so hard to read on ffr - which is why, i assume, that samt0rx and even Laggy had a hard time with it. The pure FFR players don't seem to have trouble =/

Re: 4th Official FFR Tournament - Round 4.
I only read C705 and this is annoying for me. I should easily be able to like SDP or perhaps quad the file in SM, but the AAA is a little tricky for me (blackflagged a few times now) in FFR.

hopefully me and you make it to the next round :P
EDIT: TC_Halo, dude when the hell did I say the song and stepfile sucks, I was just saying, tass says he doesn't want AAA's but that's all expert is doing, bump up the damn difficulty. Pure in Asia is harder then Border imo and I AAA'd Pure in Asia.

Re: 4th Official FFR Tournament - Round 4.
With every round, the songs and the simfiles get worse. The only way Comfort Betrays could be worse is if it had PLANETZ-style one-handed chains.

Re: 4th Official FFR Tournament - Round 4.
I love how some people just FC the song and say they'll never play it again.
