Re: Marathon Pack
Progress report: I have relized that I have the wrong BPM, The yellow arrows follow the 4th beat. since I dont have much time on my hands Im going with it, dont worry I am syncing them by the arrow. About a min in so in a month or so it should be done.....

Re: Marathon Pack
Bad idea...Reeeaaaally bad idea... Your best bet is to fix the BPM, and move the arrows back to make it so the Red arrows are on the 4th beat. It might take time, but it will be worth it.

Mac, your right; Even if I sync the yellow arrows perfectly people will still hate it. There might be a way copy/paste/shift/something and make it work easily.

Re: Marathon Pack
Sorry to double post, I want you guys to tell me if Jacky's Theme from Virtua Fighter would make a good M Song. At first it sounds like a re-peat nightmare, but at about 2:42 it mixes it up and you can tell it's not boring. I have started it with the idea of only stepping 2:30 of it, but if you guys like it I'll go the extra mile and make it a Marathon.

Re: Marathon Pack
None of the songs from virtua fighter except maybe dural's theme makes good simfiles.

I haven't started either. I'll get on it this weekend.
Since MixMasterLar has scrapped his FaXX, I might try that. I have ideas for 5 other songs, though. |

Schollbluk has been correctly stepped by Yanah.
And by correctly, I mean it isn't passable.

Re: Marathon Pack
That doesn't mean you can't make one that's good and fun with bpm tricks.
Just giving you a heads up if you want to use it to check some of your technicality of the file.

Re: Marathon Pack
hey wait a minute
I've had probably about a minute of a marathon file stepped for around a year now. Honestly, I just remembered it upon looking at this thread. I'll finish it when I get some time on my hands. Getting it done and sending it in on time doesn't look to be too worrisome. How far in are you guys at this point? |
