Default Skeletor up in this m?

Random drawing I finished today. Total I think took maybe 3 hours using only a soft brush.

As I went on it kinda shaped like a beefcake skeletor imo and so I gave it skeletor's color palette.
Ofcourse it doesn't look like actual skeletor but I don't care hehu. It wasn't my intention to make skeletor anyway.

And a 45 minute speedpaint:

Not too happy with the castle but w/e. I like this one 10x better than my beefcake skeletor though lmao

For Skeletor, it seems like there isn't enough focus on the skull? I imagine it being the focus of the pic, but it doesn't seem large/menancing enough (Maybe sharper, more defined edges? Or just make it larger rofl). And maybe cropping the top off or lifting the head higher, the skull seems too "centralised" in the pic imo. Colours and shading are nice

2nd pic is nice and sweet, love your choice of colours

Yeah I'm not pleased with the beefcake skeletor haha. I only used a soft brush to make it and it's hell to make things sharp with that. Didn't have any other brushes available at the time except for standard brushes and I thought it would be a challenge to only use a soft brush.
I'm probably not gonna work on redefining it though because the picture just doesn't capture enough attention to spend more time on it. It's good portfolio filler though.

I'm pretty pleased about the colors and composition of the 2nd drawing.

edit: I realize what's wrong with the castle now, perspective is off. Won't be able to fix this until next thursday though.
