Default What difficulty level do you prefer?

Just as the title suggests. I like Standard to Heavy. I can't quite do all the heavy yet... But I do light sometimes when I want to look like a God and get it perfect :P

I can't say that I ROCK, lol but I do preffer heavy...you get higher combos much faster, plus I can't STAND playing slow stuff. I need to keep going fast

Heavy when I have nothing to do, Standard when I can squeeze in a quick game.

I respectfully disagree. It's because of Beginner and Light that I didn't give up the first times that I played. I wish I could share your opinion now, but it'll probably take me a couple more years before I can hit any heavy songs successfully.

By the way, Panda. That animation in your sig: Best gif evar!

Heavy is cool, Oni sucks. Standard is alright when you want to take a break.

The others are cool if you suck.

btw don't bar rape.

hey tannon your friend jeremy is hot.. lol and that game of spin the bottle was awesome... see ya at the mall sometime soon...
anyway if you suck.. light
if you rock.... heavy
and anyway what kind of question is that..... you should know not to do heavy if your gonna fail and get cordination..... retards... when the colored arrowns get to the clear white kind of arrows then press down on the arrow .... you guys are really slow.... oh yeah and if you jump off because you can't do a song.. especially when your starting off playing ddr ... dont because you'll never get good enough to do that song if you never try.. der... have some confidence in yourself people.

Heavy! Standard is actually pretty fun if you feel like full combo'ing something and showing off hehe...it's really easy to get big crowds around where I live. Heavy is more challenging and it doesn't feel like you're taking one step like every 2 seconds. gotta go fast!

Panda, I started on light, and went to standard. Then slowly went to heavy. Those previous modes got my hooked on the game. So I'd also have to disagree with you. Maybe now light is a waste of time for me, but there are only one or two songs that I have to do on light. Max 300, and Max Unlimited. But they aren't my favorite songs anyway.

coldacid, a couple of years dude? I've only owned the game for a month and I'm in heavy already, with a bunch of passed songs with A's and B's. And there are some with AA's. It would definatly not take you a year or two to complete a heavy song. Then of course, this also goes with how often you play the game. I'm only once a week.

I go for sessions usually once or twice a week, but I'm usually tired. And I don't have much of a rhythm, and I can only hit polar doubles with any sort of consistancy. And the real deal-breaker is that I can't handle 8ths (or halfs, or whatever) except for .59 on light.

With the time it usually takes for me to improve on something, I'm guessing that I'll start playing heavy by the end of the year, but I'll only be getting A's a year or so past that.
