Your best bet is to do files out of your comfort zone (within reason). There is Tarrik's engine and my engine for looking at other files that cover a variety of aspects

Also don't forget to use Hakulyte's isolation engine if there's a certain part of a song you're having trouble with, but your song may not be in the list.

but that's just my opinion.

For now, this is what I came up with:

Tageri under bursts.
Hardkore Atomic and bmv.578 under jacks.
MAX Forever under trills.
Pants under jumpstreams.

EDIT: Why is Crowdpleaser under jumpstream haha?

Crowdpleaser has one dumb trill and one dumb burst section and the rest is actually fun slow streams/jumpstreams with some 24ths and jacks.
People seem to forget the good parts of the chart, without the bullshit it would be a pretty fun file.

Are there any good songs to practice flam notes like colored notes right after a 4th/8th (or whatever they're called). They're really annoying to try and hit perfectly because of how awkward the beat is.

I know (at least some of the songs in the) "The Games We Played..." series have a whole bunch of flam notes and bursts and stuff like that on very off beats. You could give those a try.
