A troubleshoot for you Sim Authors out there.
I have a horribly annoying problem that I can't seem to fix without any normal convention. It is simple enough: I'm making a song on SM using the editor, and to make the arrows seem more synced I inserted an arrow pause(or so I think it is) at the very beginning of the song(although it might be 1/64th note in for some reason). The problem with this is, now I know a better way to do this and I want to remove it, but for some reason I can't get the delay to return to zero despite going to every frame and trying to reduce it. Anyone know why I can't change it or a way to fix it anyways? Here is a screenshot.

You have to open up the .SM file and delete it manually.

Why did this happen? It seems that when I normally do pauses like this they are easily removed. Why is this different?

Re: A troubleshoot for you Sim Authors out there.
This seems to happen when you place things like BPM changes and stops in 12th, 24th, or 48th timing. I've had multiple instances where I put a BPM change on a 12th note, saved, closed Stepmania, and then re-opened and decided it may be better to move the BPM change. When I tried to delete it in the editor, it actually put a new BPM change directly on top of that one. This may have been what was happening to you...?

I was just about to say what Zybanthia said about BPM changes on 12th notes, but then I checked your pic and saw that you had it on beat 0. I'm not sure why you aren't able to delete that.

It's not on beat zero though. It looks like something right after zero... possibly 48th. If it is, that would explain it.

oops, I didn't notice that he wasn't directly on the stop.
For manual deletion: Go to your Stepmania Folder > Songs > My Creations (or whatever group your song is in) > Lobodomy and open up the .sm file in Word, Notepad, etc. Where it says '#STOPS:', remove the first entry. If it's the only stop, make sure you leave in the semicolon.

.sm File (delete what's in bold)
#BPM:0.000=165.000 #STOPS:60.000=0.052 .dwi (delete what's in bold) #BPM:165.000; #GAP:0; #SAMPLESTART:17.123; #SAMPLELENGTH:12.000; #FREEZE:60.000=0.052 If that's what your file is like. Hopefully this is what you are looking for. NINJA'D damn

.sm files only carry stuff out to three decimal places so anything that requires more places than that to be exact will cause that to happen, namely: 12ths, 24ths, 48ths, and 64ths.
