Re: Dance Dance Revolution Or In The Groove?
My vote goes for ITG, for several reasons:
-Otaku music quickly gets on my nerves -ITG stepcharts are way better. You don't find such crap you find in DDR. Healing-d-vision, for example.. the stepper of this song didn't understand that most of its rythms are based on triplets, and not on binary "double-croche". and what about dead end groove radar..-__-..? -ITG machines' dance platforms are of way better quality than DDR machines, and I'm sure that all ITG2 players agree with me. To sum up, ITG's spirit is, to me, much more professional than DDR, which still remains in its childish approach with its flashing menus, stupid and useless vocals, crazy music, approximative sync and amateur stepcharts. |

Re: Dance Dance Revolution Or In The Groove?
so many of these threads!!! ITG for the expirenced players who can pass the legend of max easily, but DDR is better for beginners. I like ITG because its in english, but ddr has better music.

Re: Dance Dance Revolution Or In The Groove?
... i play at an arcade with itg1-3 and some peoples stepfile on it. and DDR etreme arcade verison, everything is in japanese. DDR's music is better which is why it is better for beginners. I know it has novice I'm ont oblivious. ITG has a handful of good songs. I do love how ITG has hands, but i hate when people cheat them and like rock there feet over them. It takes all the fun away from it.

ITG FTW. Custom songs, modifiers, modded courses. The R21 machine is the pinnacle of machine dance technology so far.

Re: Dance Dance Revolution Or In The Groove?
I wouldn't go that far... Andamiro's been making cabinets for ages and a well-maintained Pump Machine is just as good as an ITG2 dedicab. Andamiro made Pump cabinets before they made ITG2's.

Re: Dance Dance Revolution Or In The Groove?
This man speaks the truth. Pump pads were built nearly the same sensor-wise, which is why you can also do tons of hands without actually having to get down on the floor. Many of Pump charts actually require you to know how to do hands without getting on the floor because they happen so quickly.
