Triple arrow key fail?
I don't know if this has to do with my computer or FFR, but for some reason when I play a song like Big Blue, whenever I reach a point in which I have to press say, the UP, LEFT, and RIGHT arrow key at the same time, it doesn't register that I hit them at all, but if I hit them separately, it works fine. I know it's not my fingers failing (I use one hand, off topic), because I remember when I was playing BB Evolution, one of my favorites, I pressed a triple key combo before the song started, and nothing happened, no "BOO" or "MISS" or anything, it didn't register at all. I can haz help from Sprite, or anybody who knows what the problem is?

Re: Triple arrow key fail?
Some keyboards can't hit three or more keys at once in certain combinations (such as the one you mentioned). If you want to do a song like that you need to hit them separately for worse accuracy or, what I would recommend doing, is switching the keys you use to something that can hit four keys at once if you have to.

Ninja'd by alloyus. What he recommends is actually what should be done, don't start hitting them separately. xP

Re: Triple arrow key fail?
Alright, thanks. It's good to know it's not FFR screwing with me.

Re: Triple arrow key fail?
What keys are capable of hitting 3-4 notes? I have the same problem. I use ghjk, idk if that will help lol

Re: Triple arrow key fail?
It varies from keyboard to keyboard, but if you're looking for keys in a row I know one thing I used to use was (m , . /), could always try that.

Re: Triple arrow key fail?
I had the same problem with my keboard at home as well. Then I started playing harder and hardeer songs then realized that playing with the arrows will make the songs I play way more difficult. I had to change my default keys and get used to it(still am, sorta). I use askl. It's getting less and less wierd, and songs that I saw as impossible I can FC

Use the keyboard thing at the top to figure out which keys work. |

Re: Triple arrow key fail?
I used to have this same problem in other games, but I've recently noticed that when I switched to a new keyboard (nothing special just bought it in the store) I'm able to do it. It really depends on the keyboard.

I've never seen this before pretty cool. I used to just check mine with stepmania in the test input. But this is more convenient XD |

Re: Triple arrow key fail?
Lol, I can press 3 keys at a time, no problem. (With any key combination) I can't press 4 however. ;/ I used that anti-ghosting FAQ, and the keyboard at the top to try to find a combination that worked, and apparently, none of them do. Guess I'll probably have to buy a new keyboard or something to get it to work. xD

Re: Triple arrow key fail?
Partially why i switched to spread.
The arrows could only hit [124]s, no other combo of hands would work for me, now i can hit any combo as56

Re: Triple arrow key fail?
Your using arrow keys right? Keyboards weren't designed for u to hit 3 arrow keys at once. I suggest switching to WASD or using a spread setup. Tell me if it works

Re: Triple arrow key fail?
It's funny but really only modern usb keyboards have this problem. If you have an old ps/2 keyboard sitting in your closet pull it out and give it a try.
The action on older keys feels so much better too. Mmm buckling spring <3 |

Re: Triple arrow key fail?
I had this problem on my laptop while playing a different game - wouldn't let me press W/A/Space all at the same time. Then I got a desktop and haven't had a problem since. Course I play m,./ so I wouldn't know about any other setups.

I have a laptop, and the keyboard is glitchy sometimes. I was curious as to why my spread didn't work for 3-arrow shots. Turns out, my spread was the problem. Now I use QW89 and it's a dream.
