Hi
Hi, I've been playing for about 6 months now, but haven't really used the forums at all. I guess the new layout helped me see some features that I didn't notice before. I think I'm halfway decent now but have trouble playing consistently. Just wanted to post a hello in the forums.

Re: Hi
Hello, welcome to the community, since maybe the time to say "welcome to FFR" has passed after you have been here for 6 months. Good to see somebody with good English.

OSHI- Punctuation, capitalized letters where they belong, words spelled correctly, I like you already. Agree'd, good to see someone with good English. I'll welcome you to FFR regardless of the 6 months you've been here. Looking forward to seeing you around contributing to the forums

Re: Hi
Thanks for the welcomes. I read the sticky for the tips to get better, but is there anything else you guys do for practice besides playing? I seem to run into the same problems whenever I play. (consecutive doubles, and doubles within streams).

Re: Hi
There is a thread that explains what things are called, in case you care, and maybe would like to more easily relate to people:
http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...ad.php?t=37697 As for me, I am actually quite bad at the game, but when my friend got me back into it, he told me it's best to increase the speed of the arrows, so maybe, if you are not using one already, a speed mod would be good for you. You can use them in the Options Menu of the game. Also, some people play better with the arrows reversed, I personally don't, you can try it though. Also, maybe playing with two hands, if you play with one, and just doing the same type of pattern over and over again. Don't play for too long, you will start to do worse. |

Re: Hi
Hey thanks for that link, it was actually very useful. I didn't really know any of the technical terms before. I do actually play with 2 hands, as I hit a wall while I was playing with 1 hand, which eventually led to the switch. I also play with a 1.5x mod. So I suppose the main thing is to keep playing. It's worked well enough so far.

Re: Hi
Yeah sure, no problem, now when somebody complains about the staircases in one level, you'll know what they mean.

Re: Hi
Hello there. Welcome to the forums. It's cool that you've been here for a while, so there's no need to explain to you how the game works. But yeah, make sure to read the stickies and the rules so you don't get in trouble. Feel free to ask any questions or PM me if you need any help! ^.^
