"Forever Young" cornandbeans remix

A happy hardcore remix of Alphaville's classic, "Forever Young" with some breaks elements halfway through. Probably some of the best and heaviest stuff I've produced yet. (not a joke like my previous submission :P) For those who don't know the song already, you might recognize it from the school dance scene in Napoleon Dynamite... hah. Give it about a minute to gain momentum.  Enjoy!(taken directly from newgrounds, yeah I know.) share with me your opinions!  |

Really nice job man. I kinda find it amazing that you were able to eq out all of the other sounds without depreciating the vocals (something I've tried and failed to do many times).
Can't wait 'til I'm able to pull off stuff like this. :P

oh and if it isn't too much trouble try to give it a 5
 darkbear: All you need to do is start out with the vocals and see where they fit in the mix. Just build the other sounds around them. However cutting the low end while remixing is pretty much essential, you might want to roll off a bit of the highs as well. If you have an instrument that conflicts, use an analyzer to get the general idea of where your new instrument is and cut that area of the remixed song. |

For some reason I'm picturing some index-friendly super-generic stream file for this song rofl.
Meh, someone should step it for FFR, its really good. Great music as always, CnB. One thing that annoyed the **** out of me is the ending. It was really good then you end it with a fade out, honestly in my opinion fade outs are endings for songs where the artist couldn't think of a creative way to end it. I loved the beat you put in during the second chorus. Other then that it didn't leap out at me, that said I don't have a trained ear for this style of music.
