Man, 94% on raining blood. I was pretty much fc'ing it until the end, where I tend to get owned. If I can figure out how to hit those trills I'll be set for at least 98%. As for TTFATF, it's pretty easy up until the part like, 70% in or so where all the retarded solos come in. I usually fail there, but when I passed I got like 450k 90%. Also, 477K on Knights of Cydonia.

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
Actually Reach, I 5-starred 3s and 7s in one go. And I am really starting to get mad at TTFAF. I just can not get passed that 90% range. I hit it and then boom I fail. argh.
I wanna go 5-star all I have left, but TTFAF is top priority...I'm stuck with 3 stars on RB anyway. |

And just about all the hard parts are over by 90%. You should be able to pass it if you can get that far.

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
Yeah, the problem is I hit that 90% mark with that long string of red in that HO/PO and I just can't keep the meter high in there...
I'm on the verge of just giving up honestly...but I think I can get it if I just keep practicing....but eh...Idk. |

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
I haven't downloaded it yet, though i saw a video and it looked like a good chart. I'll probably download it in a day or two, need to renew my live.

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
It was a really fun chart to play. Didn't 5-star it, but I 4-starred ^_^. That may have been one of the funnest charts on the game to actually play though.

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
I went to my friend's house yesterday ad played the first Guitar Hero 1 for my first time. Oh my god it was easy as hell. I was worried that it would be hard because you have to strum for every note, but the notecharts were too easy. No wonder everyone was complaining about it at the start of this thread.

God. I got like 96% on the way it ends but 200k ***. God. How do you do the transitions where there's no strumming fast enough without over/under strumming and breaking your combo D:
time to hit the practice mode

However, I got 500k on Before I forget. 99%...I think I only missed during the fast (BR)(YG) chords and once at the end. Also, like 515k on stricken. Just can't FC the solo. The rest isn't too bad + nice path.

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
So going back to Guitar Hero 2.
I have now 5 starred every song bar Jordan now. Today I picked it up and 5 starred Pyhcobilly Freakout and Carry me home. I then did institutionalized on the second go. I only need to complete Hanger 18 and Freebird which I knoe I can do but I need to do on career and I can get the Guitar =D.

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
Welp, I bumped my 360 and my box made this effed up noise, so I take out the disc and there's a huge spiral gash in my disc.
I'll just pull the movie rental switcheroo, but I'm out for awhile. I wanna ***** The Way it Ends. D=

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
If you're left handed it really doesn't matter, play whatever setting feels better.
On easy and medium, keep your hands with the index on green, middle on red, etc. Once you get to hard and expert, keep your index on red, middle on yellow, etc. It's a lot easier to reach your index up to green instead of moving your pinky to orange. I'd say get GHII before getting GHIII. The songs in GHIII are much harder, and it's better to play GHII first I'd think. |

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
GH3 is harder but the gameplay is easier because the HOs and POs actually work.
