Why 3.9: If you make BPM Screw-ups, you can just delete them in the actual .SM File, but you have to open it as a .txt file to do that. Also, when you pick a speedmod, it stretches the space between notes and bpm/stop/bg changes, making it easier to read BPM changes close together. Why 4.0 But at the same time, 3.9 gets all screwy with the chart on CMods, and you can change the BPM/Stop changes in a song without F7 or F8 in 4.0, so they both have their ups and downs. You can also put 192nd notes in 4.0 if you need to step really complicated songs, but I step with 3.9 because some of the ups of 3.9 outweigh the ups for 4.0 for me. Re: The Pseudo Skill Token Thread V2
Updated everything...kind of...I'll explain that in a bit.
Notes: 5.points: -Token #40: Those averages and boos make that FC score above a (60-0-0-0) score. alexdestructions: -Token #11: You forgot to play Z. i love gabba: -Token #11: I require a screenshot of the game plays on your replay page or on your profile to prove that they were done in a row. SpammyMcSquirrel: -Token #44: You need proof that the AAA was after the token was made. - Please remember to include the stats in the upper right corner of your screenshots. Okay, so...I can't save my updates. ): I keep on getting a database error that I can't refresh to get pass. It was a good thing I copied everything in the post, so I'll try pasting that over everything currently in the post using the non-advanced mode editing... Edit: ****...I keep on getting a database error no matter what method I use to save the edit on the main post. I'll keep the updated post open in another tab for now and back it up. I guess I'll have to cut the main post in half and have a second post with, like...all the tokens after token #49 in it. Last edited by HammyMcSquirrel; 07-8-2008 at 03:01 PM.. |

Re: The Pseudo Skill Token Thread V2
Posting again to discuss what to do about the whole size limit of the main post and database issues.
Two options I thought of are... 1) I could simply take the top post of one of the next pages of this thread and dedicate it to the tokens while keeping the main post for the rules/info/other crap. It would be disorganized but it would allow us to keep things within this thread. I would probably have to get another post for more tokens in the future, though, making it even more disorganized. 2) I could make a new thread and reserve the...I dunno, first 5 posts for tokens. I could hold 100 tokens per post it seems, so that would set things for 400 tokens. (Since the very first post would be used for all the rules/info/other crap.) Edit: Actually, maybe 50-75 tokens per post would be better, since the amount of people unlocking the tokens will increase over time and increase the size of the post. I also thought of another option that would be similar to option two but on a lesser scale. 3) I could ask one of the mods to delete posts #3-5 so it makes another post of mine come after the main post. I could use that for spare tokens, though it would only last for so long before I would need to have more posts deleted to have my next post up there. I'm leaning towards option two right now, but I wouldn't really mind doing option three. It's really up to the majority. Feel free to think of other options or talk about additional ideas to throw in with these options. Last edited by HammyMcSquirrel; 07-6-2008 at 07:42 AM.. |

Re: The Pseudo Skill Token Thread V2
But my replays are automaticly erased after 2-3 songs so when I finished the requirements and checked them , they weren't there, it happens often.

Re: The Pseudo Skill Token Thread V2
You can save your replays as you play the songs one at a time. Don't forget you have the option of taking a screenshot of your recent game plays on your profile. If you do that, though, you will need to provide the individual screenshots as well so I can see the PA and combo and all of that.

Re: The Pseudo Skill Token Thread V2
Hammy: The reason I did not show a date was because Ponygon made his token on March 9th, 2008, yet I didn't create this account until April 23rd, 2008, thus making it impossible for me to have gotten the AAA on this account before said token was released.
Just saying. Last edited by SpammyMcSquirrel; 07-6-2008 at 09:18 AM.. |

Re: The Pseudo Skill Token Thread V2
Hmm... Option 2 sounds the most reasonable since this thread has become quite large in size and popularity. However, Option 3 would be much easier if you don't feel like creating a V3 and bugging the staff, rofl.

Edit: I don't think I'm going to name it V3, though. I'd rather save that for when a new thread organizer takes my place if that happens some day. I'll think of some way to distinguish it as being the newest version of the thread Last edited by HammyMcSquirrel; 07-6-2008 at 08:04 PM.. |

Re: The Pseudo Skill Token Thread V2
Caps Lock or add New to the title of the thread? rofl
Also, I noticed that half of the tokens I made were half-assed and the quality is pretty crappy (RE: the noticeable border between the token image and the token base itself). Whenever the new thread is created, I think what I'll do is remake most of those tokens and smoothen the edges more to keep everything consistent =]

Re: The Pseudo Skill Token Thread V2
All right, I've given this about 50 tries now... and I just can't do it lol. Nothing THAT hard, really. Must be mental blocks. =P But here it is.
Token #99 (kjwkjw) -Pass Manhattan Sapphire with 944 perfects and a total of 989,390 or less. Unlocks: (Not specified yet) I think this should be verified via PM, but that is up to Hammy. Could someone please make a temporary token image to use until I finally decide to get a new avi. Thanks!

Re: The Pseudo Skill Token Thread V2
Just got #97... do i really need to post it? lol. it's simple and it's on my replay page. <3.
edit: kjwkjw, by my quick math... that is impossible to do. under the 944 perfects condition, the min score would be 990,890.... unless you also want us to get 75+ boos, which would make it under 989390... but that seems silly. since it seems the purpose is to figure out the proper way to do it. not to figure out the proper way AND THEN also have to randomly get tons of boos.

Edit: Wait, just a sec, hahah. I didn't even check to see how many arrows were in that song, and I didn't see the "Pass" part. Just give me a moment, I'm swamped with a lot right now. (Got messaged by like...five people at once on AIM while trying to take care of things with this thread. ) Alrighty, you're good to go on that one. I'll check you off on the next update. However, it's your token and it fits the guidelines as it is. If you want it to be like that then you may do so. |

Re: The Pseudo Skill Token Thread V2
Come to think of it, it does sound a little clearer.
EDIT: DotA has 944 arrows <_< Hold on... All right, see if this works. Pass Manhattan Sapphire with 944 perfects and a total of 990,890. Then pass Vi Sitter I Ventrilo Och Spelar DotA with 943 perfects and a total of 990,340. EDIT2: Think this should be PM-verified?
