Re: FFR Tips for AAA'ing tough sections of files ingame
Don't know if this link has been posted yet, but it's a good idea to add this to the OP for easy reference:

Re: FFR Tips for AAA'ing tough sections of files ingame
Thanks, Doss.
Eclipse weird frame rolls fixed You'll hit early goods down the roll. The start of this is 43[gap]21 then to the 4[gap]3214. This section is practically 3214[gap]3214 in another perspective. Either hit the middle perfect or late perfect area to get over the gaps. Second half of the frame rolls: Pretty sure there's a gap between the last 32nd and the jump. |

Re: FFR Tips for AAA'ing tough sections of files ingame
ending as in? The ending is basically the beginning. Necro is pretty much straightforward. Jumptrillable with awkward fast rhythms. Don't think there's much of an issue.
Combo would help. |

Re: FFR Tips for AAA'ing tough sections of files ingame
Wow did ~Zeta~ seriously AAA the CP megatrill with standard vibration?
I personally haven't been able to do that, even with isolation. My best is something like 2g clean. Personally, I think the only reasonable way to AAA the entire CP file is to get good at using overlay setup for the megatrill. It's just too much of a pain to get through the first half of the file with the AAA only to have a high probability of screwing up the megatrill. You'll probably have better luck overlaying. CP is a tricky file because the coloring of the notes are misleading (there are plenty of jumps, for instance, that are dual-colored when they shouldn't be and they screw a lot of people up who mis-time their hits). |

Re: FFR Tips for AAA'ing tough sections of files ingame
100%.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A4c2XHM1-E4 Time links for the flags. AAA isn't in the vid because that was done a couple days ago. Hardest part for me is actually finishing the trill (the last 4 arrows of the trill). Always end up short or fall behind. AAA'd it yesterday but my camera died without me noticing. I can consistency get 5 or less on it now lul. EDIT: As frustrating as vibrating is, I don't feel like messing with overlay. Requires a bit more practice on something I already know how to do. Plus, It'd be quite awesome to get top 10 vibrating against overlayers xd Last edited by ~Zeta~; 02-28-2011 at 09:07 AM.. |

Re: FFR Tips for AAA'ing tough sections of files ingame
It's very feasible (and actually not that tough) to get <6g using standard vibration when playing the entire CP file. It's just hard as hell to break that 4g barrier, imo. Overlay helps you iron out the time lags that occur with the trill (based on how the engine works, any lag in your taps screws you over in the long run, which is why overlay provides you with a nice steady rhythm).

Re: FFR Tips for AAA'ing tough sections of files ingame
I know. Rank 10 is 8 goods with 1-3 boos. Shouldn't be too hard for me to get a decent rank.
For FFR. Don't know if you'll count this, but it worked marvelously for kjwkjw: Quote:

Re: FFR Tips for AAA'ing tough sections of files ingame
In all seriousness, just practice the ending, keeping in mind that the weird 24th part changes midway to 1324. No fancy tricks with jumps or anything. The avi does help though

How about the beginning burst in Bus Rides with People. I'm getting real sick of it so any tips or diagrams will be much appreciated, thanks.
