when you have extreme nasal congestion and you literally can't breathe through your nose; that's when I have to manually breathe through my mouth.

Well, I do mindfulness meditation several times a week, so in that way yes I do think about my breathing very often

Something such as the sensation of your tongue in your mouth or an itch on your nose can make for an interesting focus besides the breath.
i realize this thread is not intended to be super srs but i am electing to take it that way anyway
Having what might ordinarily be an uncomfortable feeling and sitting with it and just being aware of it is a very interesting exercise in a contemplative mindset.
