Re: The FFR Trading Card Game
Raid Boss is ALIVE
Community Raid Boss! ARCHMAGE HP = 15,000,000 Difficulty: 6 Armor: - 2500 (He is immune to attacks from songs with more than 2500 arrows) Loot: TBD Despawns: 11:59pm Server Time Friday July 5th What is a Raid Boss, You Ask? A Raid Boss is An Enemy the TCG Community Must Work Together to Defeat. Each User May Submit Up to Three Public Songs as an Attack Against the Raid Boss. It is NOT Wise to Use All Three Attacks at Once, However, Because Every Raid Boss Has a Different Weakness, and it is Up to the Community to Figure Out Which Attacks Deal More Damage than Others. Raw Score WILL Be a Factor in Damage, But the Multiplier You Receive Will be a Huge Factor in Your Damage Output. Figuring out the Monster's Weakness Will be Key to Taking it Down. When You Submit a Score for An Attack, Please say "For Raid Boss," or Something to that Effect, in the Post Description. Once the Attack is Processed, I will Post the Song Title, Multiplier, and the Damage onto the Raid Boss Spreadsheet. Only 1 Player May Submit a Score for Any Given Song. The Player That Posts it First Counts. Once a Song is Posted for a Player, The Player May Post Improvements to the Score Up Until the Monster is Slain. As Soon as I've Posted a Monster Has Been Slain, No More Attacks Will Be Calculated. If a Raid Boss Has Not Been Defeated by its End Date, No Rewards Will Be Given. Special note: I promise the weakness(es) of this raid boss are absolutely objective, consistent, and can be figured out if you can figure it/them out, it/they are just quite hard to determine compared to previous ones.. The maximium possible multiplier is x15. Last edited by devonin; 07-4-2019 at 09:05 AM.. |

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game
double posting because I don't want this to get lost in the score post
-- Is old raid boss data kept somewhere? If not, is there any reason why it's just getting overwritten every time? I didn't get to see my final contributions to the last boss EDIT: Score 2, for science!

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game
I clear it so I don't have to make a new sheet and link to it every time, sorry I haven't kept a history so far. I can in the future if everyone would like.

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game
I'm fine with no history of the fight. A history of like "This was the boss, it had this much HP, took this much damage, and the weakness was X" would be cool if just so down the road we know which things have been used already.

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game
I have something obscure that produces appropriate multipliers for both submissions but a data set of two isn't exactly substantial enough for me to invest any amount of confidence in it to post, pretty likely just a coincidence
Will check back later after more roll in |

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game
I mean absolute value of digit sum of amazings - digit sum of perfects (with a cap of 16 to prevent shit from getting out of control) is pretty fucking close, I'm assuming I'm missing another weakness that's leading to some being 1 off

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game
well you've got two more scores to try and figure with.
Brain was x9, Revo was x11 |

data set still too small to really discern anything concrete, but after seeing those other two scores I'm pretty sure the digit sum part is right (which would be pretty neat to hone in on after only two submissions) Last edited by One Winged Angel; 07-3-2019 at 03:53 PM.. |

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game
fun note: song length is the same for new windy paradise and our journey and epilogue. One got a 2 the other got 11. Think we can rule out song length as a factor.

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game
rushy resubmit your hajnal with a better digit sum difference between amazings and perfects than 2 or 3
if the multiplier changes, regardless of by how much I expect it to, it at least confirms the score you get impacts the multiplier and not just extraneous shit like genre or years in game (which I don't at all expect is the case to begin with) Last edited by One Winged Angel; 07-3-2019 at 04:25 PM.. |
