Not true, I had people in D5 with lolo AAAs and such. It depends on overall scores not 1. Also FGOs don't really start at a 76 if you base it on the old scale and this wasn't even rated an 81 it was rated an 80 but was pushed up because the upper side of the scale was changed mid tournament. So in reality this is a low FGO and definitely something obtainable by a D5 player that's been working their ass off this tournament.

to be honest, i don't think the top 3 players worked hard to get that AAA last round. they had it by day 3... but we all knew ca25nada was going to go far either way lol

The first jump is missing. Adding silence at the start adds two more notes and forces people to get their scores again (not a good deal for .Rarity/arcnmx). The file is just going to be left alone because the file didn't have any silence added to it and had a note cut off. Don't get me wrong; I love Silvuh but this mistake could have been prevented had the two seconds of silence rule been followed, haha.

It was also a JS file which for most is a strong point.

I thought the silence was just a suggestion, not required :P. Anyway, rarity and arcnnx basically sight read, don't think it would be too difficult for them.

It's kind of stupid to talk about at this point though. Just give ca25nada or DarkZtar the win and place better next time.
Your attitude is terrible. You're intentionally disregarding the fact that there are always divisional front-runners and those who are at the bottom of the division. Look at Kayla -- she was placed in D5 with absolutely terrible FGO stats with the exception of a SDG + misses on Einstein-Rosen bridge and a highest AAA of only 68, yet she made it to Round 4. Divisional front-runners exist and ALWAYS will. Divisional underdogs exist, and ALWAYS will. Sorry, but ca25nada was moved up to D6 against his will in the 6th official tournament, and I didn't agree with it then. Everyone whined and complained and got what they wanted. I could have just as easily moved up Hakulyte, Darkomni, kmay (sorry man, Blue Rose, lol), rushy, Popadopalis (who had a FGO AAA that WASN'T lolo, mind you), and several others.

With the new scale being shifted in the FGO range, an actual FGO is now 79 (or, arguably high 78) and Crow's Ghost is an 81, which is certainly not far in the FGO area at all. It's also especially annoying to see someone mentioning this whole FGO argument (rushy) while seeing someone else mention that a flag on an 80 is automatically D6 (Mike), when one of the people making a mention has a better score than a person that they are arguing about -- Rushy has a better score out of the gates than ca25nada does, yet no one is complaining about him at all, now are they?

As I've mentioned before to others as bluntly as possible: play your song and worry about how you're doing in comparison to others, not how they're doing in the division.

It's required if the file starts right away, which I explained before.

Quote:
8. The interval from the beginning to the part you put the first note of the song should be 2 or more seconds. If it's not, insert silence in the beginning of the song (or some notes in the beginning will be cut). If your accepted file doesn't have enough length of silence in the beginning when it's needed, your file will moved to conditional queue.

blue rose not even on my account would get me moved to D6 =[ personally i think my J'ai envie, and magical 8-bit could have put me in D6... i was quite nervous. although ca25nada does have a SDG on KS... that songs an 84...

Hakulyte has an SDG on an 85, but would have been knocked out round 1 on D6 (as I predicted). Again, it's not just about levelranks that push someone -- the actual chart is what does. Breakbeat Acid is just a mess of staggered streaming and doesn't present too much of anything for a file of that difficulty, compared to some other nasty files like RAN, Hero Reconsidering, etc. that have ridiculous sections of brutally fast bursts/jumpstream/etc.

I had sdgs on Storm Raid Battle and My Half prior to the tourney last year and didn't even place in the top 16 in D5 lmao.

My highest AAA before tourney started was a 72, and all my FGO scores are trash, haha. I'm honestly surprising myself this tournament since prior to it I've pretty much played FFR solely has a casual hobby and came into the tourney with the goal of making top 16 =P.

Unrelated note: Gonna keep pushing myself and try for the Crow's Ghost AAA ~=P

Like I said, I doubt anyone will get the AAA this round, it's all just a point for discussion.

Welp, I'm in the situation where even a FC won't touch my raw score. The ONE time I PA so well and I miss a roll that ends with a 124 hand. I actually PA'd the entire line of jacks that run too! I'll mirror it later when I get home, but for now, I wish the rest of D4 good luck raping my score. I know it's gonna happen. =]
