Re: TWC Rules, Policies, Etc.
I like, I like. I say the jTWC or TWC should vote that publically though so the person can defend individual points. Like trav says "you only posted about what your eating fro dinner, I vite you get a 2 game ban" and the defender says "I was not! i was hungry"
Bad analogy I know lol |

Re: TWC Rules, Policies, Etc.
Also guys, you can't judge a person's worth in this game by the amount of posts they had.
A person can easily post. "Oh yeah, he has a good point", but it doesn't make it a worth while post. So when regarding inactivity, its simply up to the players that are involved in the game to judge as called for. |

Re: TWC Rules, Policies, Etc.
Honestly, I've had enough of TWG. I've been in and out of hospital for the last month or so, so i didn't have enough time to properly get on and make a post. I prefer talking about the game over AIM anyway, but i'm useless with it and don't know how to chat to people not on my buddy list.
Trav... as for your point about i didn't make a single post all game, how didn't i get a phantom then? I'm pretty sure i made a few posts. Ban me, whatever, but i'm not playing again. The levels of play have decreased so much since all the vets left, and it's just no fun any more. Bye everyone. |

That's why we're doing it on a basis of votes from the TWC

It's just that you have been inactive for a few games now, and we need some kind of standard for inactivity. I hope you will come back after two games. |

This is why travman should have power here. If manti is mod then travman should have some sort of implied role, or even a direct one. He knows hospitality and empathy while enforcing the rules.

Re: TWC Rules, Policies, Etc.
Mattc, I'm sorry you weren't able to play, but that is the point. You weren't active for a few games in a row. If you know in any way you are not going to be able to be active, then don't sign up till the next game or something. Sorry you couldn't be active, but it is just unacceptable, and whether it was you or not, the inactive players in the games usually end up making it easier for the humans to win.
Also, I will note in one of the past games one of my wolf buddies seemed to be really inactive, but when I looked into it and asked him it turned out he could only be online during the times when I usually slept. So communication was very difficult. This is a tricky obstacle to get around. So I don't know if time zones or online times should be taken into consideration when signing up either. |

Re: TWC Rules, Policies, Etc.
you guys are retarded. A post minimum won't be effective, people will just post non-sense or half-baked ideas just to meet the minimum. In fact, it will even encourage minimum activity and input. There should be no requirement other than effort. If there were a better way, it would have been done by now.
I do like publicly ostracizing people and banning them, it encourages commitment and activity, and helps people know who's ass to ride if they're not contributing.

Re: TWC Rules, Policies, Etc.
i don't read your posts, they never make any sense, at least not for the first 2 nights....
vote against pnts movement since there isn't even enough activity to have TWG, much less a jTWG. We either deal with no games at all, or games where newbies learn the ropes. I vote sink or swim.

I vote along xero's side for the time being.
As soon as activity picks up, then I will be all for that. Not right now though. |

@ xero: That's all fine and dandy, but then how would we judge inactivity?
