Audition Online
www.nexon.net
Revived, yet again. Because I can. And will. And shall. Anyways, just popping in my latest video on Thunderbirds Are Now! - We Win (Ha Ha). Yes, I FM'd it. Yes, I have FM'd it again. Anyways, here's the vid. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9V4-8kK_9ro Also, I recently passed my lvl 14 license, so I am going to be uploading a vid of it. Basically, as a heads up, imagine me chaining three 8k FM's. There, now you know what the video is kinda like. Anyways, I'll have it uploaded tomorrow. One more thing. I am also putting up a list of FFR people who currently consistently play Audition. This list is not here to embarrass anyone. It's just here to show that yes, FFR people do play this game. Anyways, don't think of it as that they are noobs, just that they like Audition. You don't have to play Audition if you don't want to, just leave me and everyone else alone about it. Anyways, here is the list. =-=-=-=-=-=-= IAAW (Me) Scottish סּ_סּ (?) =-=-=-=-=-=-= Also, special screenshot of the day. I recently got a new outfit, and it reminds Scottish of someone.... I will post other special screenshots of the day. Or, you can post your own. Who cares. You post the screenshots that you feel are special. Anyways, I hope you enjoy the game as much as me and Scottish do. Enjoy Audition. PS: Next outfit will cost 1,000,000 BEATS. Indeedily doody. Last edited by IAAW; 05-23-2007 at 07:56 AM.. |

Awesome. I could have sworn that a lot of other people played. I'm still a noob to it, I've been playing maybe 3 weeks.

Re: Audition Online
Well, watch his video.
Besides clothing and a few game modes, that's it. It's kinda simple, just like FFR. |

Re: Audition Online
press a set number of keys before the 4th beat and then spacebar on the 4th beat getting perfects greats etc. Theres aload of diffrent modes and shiz where you team up in couples pressing a diffrent half of a long sequence together, b boy battles where a person does a move and then you have to memorize the arrows up on screen which disappear and input them and then attack with your own sequence.
The other versions of the game have a few more advanced modes like ballroom dancing, a mode which plays like pump it up and a mode which plays like space channel 5. You get monies and exp etc buy clothes and junk. |

Re: Audition Online
Is it just me or is the timing in this game retarded?
The perfect/great windows don't make any sense. I can't tell the difference between them at all and whether I get a great or a perfect is random luck. Otherwise it's quite an easy game, at least when it comes to combos up to 7 (havn't run into anything higher than 7 yet).

Re: Audition Online
Well, the timing in a song is different, depending on the BPM of a song. For example, a slow song (In the 100-120 BPM range)'s timing would be slightly to the left of the flashing area. When it comes to faster songs, the timing moves slightly into the center of the flashing area. But, regardless, perfect chaining does rely on both luck and skill, so just practice, and you'll probably be chaining like crazy soon enough. Hope to see you in-game.

Re: Audition Online
the game is very easy on beginner server where you can't get anything above 7 but if you go on the free server it might be a bit more of a challenge for you. Nobody seems to play in the intermediate server anyway.

Re: Audition Online
Honestly, the perfect window is not the same for each song. It will take some time to adjust to hitting the 4th beat on each song, especially when the bar isn't always correct. I couldn't perf at all for the first two weeks, then I started to catch on. It gets easier as you progress in speed and play the songs quite at few times

Re: Audition Online
You shouldn't really be looking at the bar to check for perfects. Once you learn to go off by the beat/sound/etc you should be able to wrack up some combo perfects which are really needed to win.
The timing for a perfect is really really strict and tight it has to be perfect. It tends to work better if you follow the flashes. |
