TWG LXXXII Postgame
A combination of sickness, disinterest and inactivity brought this game down.
Yes, I could have passed on the game to someone else, but at the time I didn't see anyone else who could handle it. Personal screwups: - Not clear enough on certain mechanics. - Screwed up 2 times with PMs (failed to send a broadcast N2 + sent ilu's combi update to someone else not in game) - Just a bad idea in general really to spring an Infiltration game on you guys. Even a toned down kiddie version. - Maybe I was a bit too restrictive with not letting people claim role names. People could have just taken responsibility for their actions. Plus, who said everything was as it seemed? I could have screwed with your heads and told you not to rely on the story because I had some big twists in store (of course, that didn't pan out.) Bacterial screwups: - Infecting me and making me sick as ****. GG assholes. THE ROLES jump_the_bullet - Wechnia. Roleblocker, could null any actions for a full night/day phase (excluding votes and combi actions.) Even passive roles (such as Marine, Vector, etc.) lost their ability when blocked by Wechnia. Makilaz - Angel. Wolf Thief. mattc16 - Jet. Wolf Seer. Gun92 - Leylia. Got 1/2 of a vote extra for each red still alive. bolth mannn - Knuckles. Got 1/2 a vote for each red killed. Basically a psychic with more negative consequences for wolf team. FictionJunction - Espio. Could change seer color at will. Cyrenics - Vector. Took two kill attempts to kill. emerald000 - Charmy. Any powers used on him had a 50% chance of failing (Except for lynches.) sc979 - Mighty. Human thief. Viccica - Marine. Got a Chaos Ring for the first human lynch, and another for every two human lynches. Was NOT notified of this, only informed of "an increased chance to find chaos rings." tupacodaman - Ray. Got an Indicator Crystal (seer item) everytime he paired with a blue. iluswirl - Fang. Notified the reds everytime she paired with a blue. Technically, she was human, but had strong incentive to defect to the wolf side. rzr - Mal. If rzr got killed, the next day phase would be skipped (which indeed happened) While a protown role in objective, his ability helped the wolves. A take on the "Beloved Prince/Princess" role from Mafia. Litodude - Heavy. By far the weirdest role here. He would inadvertently roleblock his Combi when paired. However, if a kill attempt was made on either him or his Combi when paired, the kill would have failed and the pairing just break. This could only have happened once for each person he paired with. Hufsa - Bomb. Kamikaze, anyone who killed him died. This, I think, might have added an "Aww BS" factor, as this indiscriminate revenge kill could have wiped out up to 4 people. Ruritsu - Cream. Regular human, sucked to be him. THE RIDDLES All of you got the "NHZ News Network" messages. The riddles were put out in every one, and the first 4 people to answer it would get into a special stage. If less than 4 people got it, there would simply be another riddle next time, and no special stage would be triggered. The prize challenges had to do with tokens. Anyone who got a prize challenge question right, they recieved a token next phase. Tokens allowed players to perform various helpful actions, similar to the terminals from the original Infiltration. Also, if you participated in a special stage and lost, you still got a "speed boost" for the phase afterward (which is why tupac was able to break pair with iluswril before he died.) Tokens in order of rarity: Sonic Token Tails Token Amy Token Rouge Token Shadow Token Silver Token Super Sonic Token THE ITEMS The principal items in the game were the Chaos Rings and Tokens. Only 3 items existed outside of those two, and none saw use in this game. Cyan Chaos Ring - Gave the power of protection. Allowed the holder to guard someone from death for 2 phases. Green Chaos Ring - Power of Destruction. Allowed the holder to vigi kill whenever he wished. One phase cooldown time after the kill . Pink Chaos Ring - Power of Limitation. Roleblocking power. Purple Chaos Ring - Power of Revelation. Seering. Blue Chaos Ring - Power of Resurrection. Revival power. Orange Chaos Ring - Power of Immunity. Invincibility to any kills barring lynches. Sonic Token - A blue token emblazoned with Sonic’s likeness. Good for one Combi Locator use at a terminal. Pick one person, and you will be told their Combi. Tails Token - A yellow token with the likeness of Tails. Good for one Target Tracker use at a Terminal. The Target Tracker will allow you to pick a definite Combi. Pick a player, and the Combi Catcher will target them. Amy Token - A pink-finished token, with Amy Rose on its face. Good for one Combi History Check at a Terminal. Pick a person, and you will see every Combi that they have had since the game started. Rouge Token - A platinum-clad token with a likeness of Rouge the Bat lovingly etched into its surface. Good for one Item Research at a terminal. Use it, and you will be shown a list of some items in the game (barring the Rouge Token itself, since you know what it does now). Pick an item, and you will be told all about that item. Shadow Token - A gunmetal finished token with Shadow etched onto it. Good for one Anonymous Broadcast at a Terminal. Allows you to send an anonymous message to everyone. You may send one and ONLY one message, and once you submit it, you can’t change it. Silver Token - A token emblazoned with the likeness of Silver the Hedgehog. Good for one Validity Check at a Terminal. Give the Terminal a statement, and it will tell you if the statement is true or false. Cannot be used as a seer terminal. Cannot be used to gain private information such as role info. Cannot be used to garner information about special stages or anything else taboo. Super Sonic Token - A rare gold token with the likeness of Super Sonic on its face, and 7 tiny Chaos Emerald Replicas set in its rim. Good for one Super Combi Locator use at a Terminal. Use it, and you will be shown info on all current Combi pairs! Indicator Crystal - Produced by Ray teaming up with a blue, as stated before. One shot seer power. Power Core Fragment - Gave the holder priority over all others when volunteering to be the Medium to reactivate the Power Core. Speed Shoes - Gave you a speed boost. Lasted for 3 phases. Anything missing, I'll try to dig it up and post it here. Good game for the wolves, they made all the right moves early on and I'm almost certain that they would've won if the game had finished. Any suggestions for this game? It's pretty much ruined here, but I know another place that might be interested in this game, and if I polish it up it could be very successful. I'm open to the possibility of making the game larger, if needed.

Re: TWG LXXXII Postgame
I attempted to steal from mak night 3. If I had that Shadow Token, I would've used it to say that he was a wolf.

Re: TWG LXXXII Postgame
Well, fic and I were gonna destroy the wolves eventually. Also, tupac had 3/4 wolves nailed.
And then the fourth wouldn't have made it too long, because yeah. |

What did the special stages entail, exactly?

Re: TWG LXXXII Postgame
Is that only pretty much because of fics threatening PM? Cause we were just going to kill and roleblock him, then who ever decided to drop the info that had been held and used it to try and lynch one of use, we would have used JTBs ring to protect us and then kill you. Fic messed up talking to me telling me he was purple, plus he already combi'd with Mak at that point so I knew he was lying about his power. Oh well. It seems this game, along with ffr, is kinda slipping off the deep end.

Re: TWG LXXXII Postgame
for the record, I did switch my seer to purple and it would have worked. read the log.
The only reason my PMs wouldn't have worked was because Maki already knew my real role. I really hoped he wasn't a wolf. I also told him that as soon as he disbanded I would go at as if he was a wolf and as long as we were together you guys weren't going to kill me. The more maki and I stayed together the more suspicious he grew. He knew that. |

Re: TWG LXXXII Postgame
actually, the only reason you 'caught me,' gun, was because BDN said there were a specific number of colors in the game rules when that shouldn't have been there to begin with. It was a mystery game for crying out loud.
