Anybody else see the world premiere of the Live Action Gantz movie?

I did on the 20th. It was awesome. It was being shown in California and 330 theatres across the US (and one in tokyo of course) Surely SOMEBODY else here saw it? Regardless, I would really recommend it. It was definately one of the better live action adaptations I've seen.

The anime was good, but I prefer the manga. Then again, Ika Musume is the only anime I can think of that's actually better than the manga.

The live action looked alright. I'll probably invest some time into seeing it some time though.

I want to see it and the Neon Genesis Evangelion 2 movie, but I kinda doubt I will. I'm not really a fan of anime, but those two are classics.

I saw it, Was pretty damn good, had to give the play by play to another User (Tiffanator) but I didn't mind Because I have been reading the manga sense vol 2. The live action didn't have all the gore that the manga did, but in return had about 5000000x more blood

Yeah. There were quite a few differences from the manga, but I was fine with that. Besides, I thought that the second mission was absolutely hilarious! Somebody needs to post that scene on youtube. And, although it has naked women, I would certainly not call Gantz a hentai. And yeah, I still need to see Evangelion 2.0 myeself.

I have Evangelion Rebuild 2.0 as a bluray file on my computer. Hell yea, 11 gb file for a 2 hour movie. So damn worth it though.

i have evangelion rebuild 2.0 1080p on my computer but it's not 11 gb. >_<
i have yet to watch the Gantz series, i will eventually, i just heard about the live action movie from fakku...

Apparently the sequel is coming out this year as well. I hope it premieres in the US as well.

Ditto. Best file in my movies folder as far as I am concerned =P

As for the Gantz movie, a bunch of my friends went to go see it but I didn't get too T_T but they said it was awesome as well so I feel I must check this out as soon as I get the chance.
