"skill" section

I've done the first four songs and hit every arrow on them all, but the fifth one is not unlocked..

What are the requirements to open up more songs in that section?

oh, so i basically unlocked these without knowing

i thought it was a progession section, like beat level 1, advance to lvl 2.

i come back and play a few times a year for a small period of time.

always nice to come back to tons of new songs

I didn't do them right away, each one had a significant portion of time between them.
