Default $100 and DDR Mat.

I have ~100 CAD or ~90 USD, and I would like to get a better DDR bad. I have an unofficial softpad, worth about 15$ and the up sensor is broken (not bad after 3 years of 1-7 foot songs), and I figure it is time to get a new pad.

I am willing to spend 90 USD on a new pad, and I am well supplied with tools so I would be able to do some modifications as well.

Can anyone recommend to me what pad I should buy?

Thanks,

NiK

Those look very similar to the one I have (though I don't think they are the same). I never had a problem with mine, aside from breaking plexiglass. However, that was after two years, and it still works fine. Go for something like those.

Not to sound negative but with 100 dollars it would be pretty hard to get a decent mat unless it's used or hot or something (can u imagine a hot DDR mat? ROFL) what i would do is just save my money and get a good mat. not to sound like a walking advertisement but I've played on a Cobalt Flux with the arcade feel modification and it felt awesome! THE Best in my opinion. Just wish there was a bar on it...
