Default Idk where to post this (DDReam weird bug)

Hi, this is about DDReam.
I'm not sure what happenned, but after stepping about 5-7 songs in it, it just says it didn't find a proper file and just starts a whole new blank one, even if I step well over a minute of the song at once and save it.
I've tried opening the older files (from before this problem) and they are just fine.. I've also tried to start stepping a couple songs and its happenning to all of them. I don't know if its because I updated my iTunes or something and I've also tried re-downloading it to see if it was a bug that I could've caused.
Can you guys help me out with this?
EDIT: I've also tried saving in both ds and sm forms, same problem
EDIT 2: I'm using Beta 5. If that's not the most recent, please send me the update

I had a problem with that before and if I remember right, the issue was that the .sm or .ds or whatever you are saving the file as is not the same name as the original one you first made from the mp3. I would save it the first time and it'd work fine, but then if I renamed the .sm/.ds file it wouldn't recognize the name and would start a new one, and I would have to fix it with the backups folder.

if the .ds doesn't count, these are exactly the same

Still not opening..

Also, some of the older files I have which names are different then the mp3 file names are loading just fine

Does your operating system show file extensions, or hide them?

Show them and verify that the extension is .mp3 or .ogg (and not .MP3 or .OGG). If that's not the issue, pass the file through audacity, reexport it at the same bitrate, and name it something simple to ensure that the file gets read appropriately.

You mean this, for the first part of your post?

Ran through Audacity and put a simpler name and it's loading now, thanks!!
