Re: Credit Giveaway V2: NFL Pick 'Em
I'm 3/6 for final scores for the day so far.
Ravens are up so that'll be another win. GO BEARS agreed. Already winning which is great. Kansas City keep going :] And Oakland and Denver, pick up the pace!

the packers have lost all their games by three in the final seconds of the game or overtime. You can't tell me they aern't at the top of the league too

Re: Credit Giveaway V2: NFL Pick 'Em
I have to say, the bears are pretty much the most underrated team in the NFL imo. About to be 8-3 and leading the division over green bay. Also 3-0 in the division yet no one gives them enough credit. With one of the best defenses in the entire NFL and imo the best kicker in the NFL, I see these guys going pretty far this year.

Re: Credit Giveaway V2: NFL Pick 'Em
I don't doubt Chicago at all, a lot of people didn't vote for them for this game. I knew they could destroy Philly and sure enough, they literally are.
Chicago is one of those teams you pretty much never hear anything big about, it's usually that they're 8-8. If they continue like this the rest of the year, then I won't doubt them, but they have a ROUGH rest of the year.

Re: Credit Giveaway V2: NFL Pick 'Em
Its prob because their only real good win was against GB. All of their other wins were against struggling teams and their losses were against lol teams. Giants was prob the only legit loss.

Re: Credit Giveaway V2: NFL Pick 'Em
I'm a Chicago fan, and I -really- wanted to pick them, but the Eagles are such a devastating offensive team.
They really have to hang in there. Green Bay losing today helps a bit though. EDIT: Plan - Chicago has one of the best defenses in the entire league. Prior to this game, they were tied for the lowest points allowed against them. Even though they haven't been playing against the strongest of teams, the fact that they're constantly able to keep damage to a minimum shows that they won't crack too hard under pressure. Re: Credit Giveaway V2: NFL Pick 'Em
It was asked why they are underrated and I said why they prob are, not against the bears or anything. lol.
Just saying how they have only played two good teams and the rest of their wins were against teams who were lucky to see 5 wins themselves and have lost to two teams who are the same way. |

But Marvin will go. You can't bring in T.O. and Gresham, and shipley and have the expectations they set just completely clobbered. It's time for Marvin to go, and PALMER! Edit: oh and they've yet to win a playoff game under him. He's a defensive minded head coach, and we can't even play defense right now. FLOP. OH AND, marvin was the ravens defensive coordinator, not their offensive coordinator. lol Last edited by TC_b0ng; 11-28-2010 at 06:46 PM.. |

If they ship in T.O. and Gresham ("Batman and Robin"...) and nothing has happened, then I wouldn't look to the head coach immediately, I'd look to either the quarterback or the offensive coordinator, then proceed to the head coach. Palmer is beyond his prime (in my opinion) and probably needs to step down. See what happens when you throw in a new quarterback? Maybe that will fix something. As far as Marvin Lewis being a defensive coordinator before, I thought he was offensive because I thought Rex Ryan went further back during Lewis' time with us. Also, I remember when Lewis left and we were kind of left without an offensive coordinator for a while and Billick thought he could do it on his own as the head coach.....(needless to say, he didn't get his contract extended after that). Plus, I don't have a memory that goes back that far for that kind of stuff XD

Re: Credit Giveaway V2: NFL Pick 'Em
Assuming Peyton doesn't pull some shenanigan to score 3 TD's in 2 minutes (lol), I'm 12/15, yay. :O
A lot of close games though.... Kinda wanted to see the Bills come out on top, oh well. |
