Up and running, I have a placeholder file on uploaded on there, please do not play it yet, as it is an unreleased file that I used simply for testing purposes.

Re: Team Frost (V2)
Announcements time!
1. Pedolad is the person who has both set up, our brand new engine, and has set up our team site. He will also be designing it as well. Let's all give him a round of applause. 2. We now have an engine. If you wish to have files added, you will be able to get them added through myself, or Pedolad at the moment. PM the file download as an FFR PM, or send it to us via skype. 3. As with a new engine being added I'm going to explain to you something important. As probably the biggest file hater on the site, and one of us who will be converting files, you might be wondering if I will cut out files that I think are bad. This will NOT be the case. All files from team members are welcome, so long as it is stepped by you, or you have the permission from the simauthor to have it added. The only minimal requirement is that your file if it is a dump, must be labeled as such, and all proper information and credit given to the song authors. It's the least we can do. So, to that I say, start sending files and remember we're still heavily setting things up. You will be experiencing down times and possible errors along the way. - Xel |

Re: Team Frost (V2)
Not sure if it's a glitch on my end, but the Team Frost engine isn't loading for me (error loading playlist)

There is an error loading the playlist, I was in the midst of figuring it out, but I went and picked up my check, give me a minute to take a look.

You caught me right in the middle of adding songs to the engine. And I'm still learning this whole bull crap, it only wants me to fix something. If you're seeing "TypeError: Error #1085: The element type "songgenre='1'" must be terminated by the matching end-tag "</songgenre='1'>". at classes.chart.parse::ChartFFRLegacy$/parsePlaylist() at classes::Playlist/playlistLoadComplete() at flash.events::EventDispatcher/dispatchEventFunction() at flash.events::EventDispatcher/dispatchEvent() at flash.net::URLLoader/onComplete()" Then yeah. That one's mine, as I was busy adding songs and moving WADN to genre 2 so that way it sat with all the other charts of mine. |

Re: Team Frost (V2)
I cannot for the life of me get this POS to do as I say despite checking it vs what I can.
So till pedolad / myself figure this crap out the engine will remain unloadable. |

Re: Team Frost (V2)
The Engine is back up and running! Sorry for the long delay everyone (2 days?), life got in the way a little bit, but alas, the engine is healthy and playable. Also including the fix, are two new files, one of which was featured in the Hardpain of Hell dump pack, and the other is a file by Ormix. You'll be able to find Ormix's file in Dance 2, because I was testing some stuff.
Also does anyone have an opinion of what we should use for the difficulty scale? 1-15? 1-50? 1-99?

Re: Team Frost (V2)
I would like to use the difficulty scale of 1-15 because there are a lot less files in the Team Frost engine than the official FFR engine, so I think having less difficulties would be a clearer way to discern them.

Re: Team Frost (V2)
I always thought you'd all like the 1-99 scale because it's so precise.
However personally I like the 1-15 as well. |
