I wear these Nike running shoes that has bounce to it when it contacts the ground. It is uber comfort, yet it lets me uber punish DDR songs.

I dunno, i usually use my Nike shoes, and they're pretty good. But NEVER EVER use skate shoes, because when i wear my Circas, my feet ache after like, 15 minutes, and the shoes are heavier.

I like playing with my bare feet. But that's simply because I walk about my own house barefoot.

But then, I haven't played DDR in a really really long time. I don't remember much.

I always wear my Chuck Taylor's, they are so worn in it's like I'm not even wearing shoes at all. But if you have new Chuck's they're all stiff and are super crappy to play DDR in.

i got my new shoes, (nike air trainers) and they work out really good. no slipping + solid hit and easy to move fast

Actually, I find that I play a lot better barefoot than anything else. Although, I only play ITG barefoot. I wouldn't recommend it for DDR; the metal bolts stick out higher than the ones on ITG. Other than that, I wear Anarchy skate shoes. The only problem is that the laces tend to slip, but some zip ties fix that nicely.
