Re: Monthly Artist Packs *Bullet For My Vallentine*
I wanted it to be overlayered seeing as its the hardest of the 3 difficultys Im stepping for the song. Can't make it easy.

Re: Monthly Artist Packs *Bullet For My Vallentine*
I would cool down on the holds then, I understand it's there go layer the guitar part, but make them shorter then. Because it's waaaayy too cluttered and nobody wants to read a **** load like that.

Re: Monthly Artist Packs *Bullet For My Vallentine*
Oh yeah at the slow part, I'd halve the bpm to signify that it slowed down, forgot about that part.
End of the chorus you're missing a 16th in that fill. Forgot about that too. |

It's 32nds. The Tabs for the actual song on guitar is 17-14 (8 times) and 16-13 (8 times) tapings on the high e string.

Re: Monthly Artist Packs *Bullet For My Vallentine*
keep in mind i use ddream so instead of posting measures i'll be posting time signatures
waking the demon offset is wrong it should be -0.167 4.87 you have the 4th hold longer than a 8th when the note isnt held that long 18.25 you forgot the 4th to the guitar 62.69 theres a 16th there above the 12th(same goes for when this part repeats) 85.43-85.89 you stop stepping the drums and just add a 4th jump in the middle the mini freeze usage for the ting sound is inconsistent. sometimes you put a mini freeze to it and sometimes you dont. using freezes for the guitar is really really annoying so i suggest you only use the freezes when the note is sustained. the solo was off sync. dont be afraid to use color notes and check your stuff at .3-.5 rate your hand and jump usage was pretty lame. i dont suggest layering everything all the time. jump files get really boring and repetative since you have very little patterns at your disposal. accept with fixes rejected if left as is Last edited by Dr Tran; 10-18-2009 at 09:15 PM.. |

Re: Monthly Artist Packs *Bullet For My Vallentine*
Agreed with Carlos.
Overstepping for the sake of the difficulty level doesn't make the file better. Look at the guitar charts on rock band if you get a chance. Something like this overall would probably be better.

Re: Monthly Artist Packs *Bullet For My Vallentine*
the amount of notes in a file does not determine the amount of fun >_O
example: moches balloon park from xoon 4 song choice also plays a huge role when making a fun file. in your case there isnt a lot to work with so your chart is probably the best the song can offer with some changes of course |

Send it to me I wanna play it
Oh and the website is up but it needs a bunch of work so for now I will just keep it to the FFR fourms. I spent $150 on the domain and host site so it should hopfully come out nicely when finished. http://www.stepmaniamonthly.com/ Last edited by L0NEvvolf; 10-19-2009 at 02:13 PM.. |
