When they pass each other, they do some kind of high five and heal each other for quite a bit.
Also, no one went to Onyxia a second time. 3 people went to do ZG. ~Tsugomaru

We had half magic and melee on each side. If you were facing a target you couldn't attack, you killed scarabs instead. Also, we don't raid with any mages. No 80 mages in our guild. The only ones who could do Frost damage were two shaman with Frostbrand weapon / Frost Shock. |

Re: World of Warcraft
The "right" way to do it back in the day was 10/10 on each side, and you just switched who was attacking. The way to do it now with the "We have 80s so there's only 5 or 6 of us" is the method I described above.

Re: World of Warcraft
Twin Emps was the hardest fight in the game next to C'thun in Vanilla. It's definitely not that simple.
However 80 roflstomp works well.

Re: World of Warcraft
If you're looking to join a server where you can meet a couple people right away and be in a guild where people are friendly and will help you level and run you through stuff, you could join my server, though you have to accept that it's a PvE server and we're alliance.
Worked okay for Relambrian. Mok'nathal is the server. |

And I really want to get involved with a guild and level quickly right away, I'm on for roughly 6 hours (average) everyday. I'll make a character after work and edit this post later. |

Re: World of Warcraft
I'll point out though, that we're a pretty casual guild, mostly IRL friends and friends-of-friends, so we're very chatty and while we'll help you level a whole bunch, when you -do- hit 80 and want to raid all the time, we mostly sub in empty spots with a few larger raiding guilds that we're associated with, rather than doing purely in-guild raiding, so don't be surprised if in a month or two you find we're not raiding enough and want to go somewhere else. That -also- worked for Relambrian. :P

I'm not an overly picky person, and if worse comes to worse, i can transfer my character or find a new guild. Thanks though for helping me out. I'm probably going to end up making a priest or lock/hunter. |

Re: World of Warcraft
Oh hey I got mentioned.
Yeah Dev's guild is really awesome, especially when you're leveling. Everyone there is extremely chill and funny, and overall nice people. As he mentioned, though, raiding isn't the main focus of the guild but those guys have connections everywhere. Before I (maybe temporarily) stopped playing due to starting college (i.e., up until about three weeks ago), I was in one of the best raiding guilds on that server because of Dev's friends. So yeah, definitely consider it. Dev's guild is awesome. |

Re: World of Warcraft
Two-shot Anub.
So easy. Edit: We also one-shot Koralon after that. It was a joke. Edit 2: Just did ZA with four people. That was fun. I went for Mojo. Mojo didn't drop. =( Anyway, my comments about the new raid, since we're done. Northrend Beasts is annoying, poorly designed, and fun, in that order. Jaraxxus is a joke. Faction Champions are annoying, but easy (in 10) and insane (on 25). Twin Valk'yr is super-fun and also very easy. Ikaruga in WoW form. Anub is easy and kinda fun. Also a little annoying. I hear they made the Valkyr substantially harder during yesterday's maintenance.

Re: World of Warcraft
If only the 25 man was just as well tuned as the 10 man version is now. I believe the idea of the normal modes for 10 and 25s is so that even a pug can breeze through them without any issue.
