What makes you think anyone would think you're seventeen when you type like you're 10?

Please read the rules: http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/....php?f=24&a=28

It's nothing personal, but nobody will read your posts unless you type out words properly. It's a huge deterrent to your credibility as well.

And for the first time in this thread, Squeek and I are in 100% agreement.

Type things out coherently, please.

Also, Squeek, question. Do you have a MySpace? Because, as a high school junior myself, I can tell you that the average high school junior types very much like Nikfighter, as evidenced by how my friends type through MySpace. It makes me cringe. I can post some examples if you want ;D

Anyway, people are discovering new advanced techs left and right over at SmashBoards. There's the Fox Trot Cancel, the aforementioned RAR, Wing Canceling for Pit, a move involving items and rolling that hasn't settled on a name yet, people still talking about tripping/Ink dropping, it's insane. Of these, it looks like most of them are glitches, but nothing gamebreaking. Fox Trot Canceling (abbreviated FTC, "fetch") seems to me to be the one that will become the new standard technique, like wavedashing/L-canceling for Melee. RAR is going to be comparable to shffling in its importance, I think.

(By the way, that unnamed move about items and rolling works sort of like this: if you throw an item while rolling, your character sort of glides weirdly, throws the item really fast, and moves you forward some. Has the potential to really help the games of characters that can spawn items, like Peach and Link)

And then there's the people giving character impressions, tier discussions, stage ban discussions, all less than a week after the game's release. It's astounding how fast everything is moving, but to be completely honest, I expect that most of it will change completely as time passes and things become more solidified.

Oh, and I just remembered, analog shielding is out. You only have one level shield this time around, and you have to press the shield button all the way in for it to register. That's a bit of a nerf to GC controllers.

After all, Marth ended up high-top tier near the end of Melee, when at the beginning, he wasn't even considered. Fox was similar, iirc. (Also, please no tier arguments, I'm making an observation about how opinion tends to change drastically over time)

Dude from the looks of it all you have to do is chill off of the side of the edge and use your arrows then grab the ledge that ALWAYS sweet spots. Jump off and do it some more...Not to mention a lot of his movies have good priority.

I refuse to have a MySpace / facebook for two reasons.

1) Everyone online is retarded.

2) I don't want these idiots to know what I'm up to.

Thats why you add REAL friends and make it private. I don't trust people on the internet with my myspace either.

That's OK. I'm content with staying off of those two websites forever. Besides, none of my real friends use myspace / facebook either, so it wouldn't do much good.

In other news, the soundtrack is amazing. I'm only three songs in and so far I've heard a remix to Stage 1-2, Stage 2-2, and Underwater world from Mario Bros. 1

Edit: oh my god world 1-3 from super mario land are you ****ing kidding me

From the looks of my list, that song isn't in there. It might be under a different name, but I'm not seeing "together we ride"

Yeah, the soundtrack is absolutely amazing. I expect that if there's a VGMP3, a very good number of songs will be from the Brawl soundtrack. I'm actually stepping the Final Destination theme right now.

But yeah, I swear the Brawl theme has undergone more first-party remixes than MAX 300 and the PARANOiA series, it's insane.

Anyway, "Together We Ride" is the alternate stage music to Temple in Melee. At least, the fast-paced portions; the slower parts were the Fire Emblem Main Theme. If you can remember what that music sounds like.

It's not looking good for its inclusion, but I too would absolutely love it. I'll eventually get around to checking out all the Fire Emblem songs on the soundtrack and seeing if it's there.

The only music I ever listened to in any smash brothers was the ones I'm forced to listen to when I play. Although I'm not really aware of it when I'm playing, so thats no biggy.

Why do I care for the music?

This is one of the biggest (if not #1) collaboration of Japanese video game composers ever. The men and women who wrote the greatest video game scores of all time all game together to remix all of their old work for this one video game.

The result is nothing short of phenomenal.

Zidart: I will look up that song and compare it to what I have. There are about a dozen Fire Emblem songs, so it will take a while.

Edit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O14uISOpGew

That?

Edit 2: Despite this guy saying it's in Brawl, it's not on the official gamerip.

That is most definitely it. At around 1:00 is where the song shifts from Together We Ride into the Main Theme.

As a side note, that's the song that plays in certain FE games during "climactic" or important sequences, like a new character joining you. Basically, the fun, exciting stuff gets that song.

Oh god, I was afraid they wouldn't have "Together We Ride" in Brawl. It is my favorite SSBM and Fire Emblem song out of all of them.

Some songs are more remixed than others, it seems.

My favorite Zelda song is in the game. Dragon Roost Island theme.
