Re: FFR Community Pack
I just checked. Still offbeat, it's probably because the entire thing isn't just one consistent BPM, it changes very slightly throughout the song. The song choice is excellent, but it's useless to try and resync it since it's so hard to do.
And to answer why lost beyond is higher than feedback, it's because feedback is still rhythmically incorrect throughout part of the song. It's fun, but not very accurate. |

Re: FFR Community Pack
Fair enough.
If someone wants to attempt syncing/making the file better go right on ahead, I think my collapsing point with stepfiles is syncing but I will attempt to make one file with more focus next and if that is utter failure then too bad hehe, but for now it's not over yet! /salute |

Re: FFR Community Pack
Just release the pack already, if this thread gets to 100 pages before it's released. That's sad, you guy's could have used that time working on the pack!

Re: FFR Community Pack
you're retarded :/
as it stands we should still get several more files in as kommi already pulled 2 of his, and we should aim for at least 35 (to leave room for cleanup lol).

Re: FFR Community Pack
I'm guessing Swallowing an Avalanche didn't make the cut. I'll wait for a definitive answer before releasing it. When I get an answer, I will send in another file.

PS: nothing else really wrong with the file? PSS: Thx for the compliment Moches. I guess taking a break from making sims actually paid off, although Im still getting 2-2.5 though, but I definalty feel better. Im guessing NPV didn't play it. Wouldn't mind to get a review from kommi or malice. Song definatly getting submitted to this or the RFpack2. Last edited by operationstrawbarry; 07-9-2008 at 05:50 AM.. |

Re: FFR Community Pack
terror 2.5/5 - ok so i'm going to tell you first off that the song could never generate good steps, so this being rejected is mainly because of your song choice. During the fast parts you always forgot one little jump after the 24th bursts. Looking at this file i can see you have a good structure and with the slow downs and such its more sophisticated compared to your other files. however, the file becomes very offsync after the long freezes.
skyscraper in the east 4/5 - assuming you know the pr mistakes, i only had a few concerns about this file. I could see a few percussion beats missing during the normal verses and a few hands could've been added at some parts but no big deal. some patterns at the beginning of the guitar solo are a little eh and don't flow too well. rest is awesome though. |
