Synthlight, how do I get granted the use of a siggy?

That was one of the main points of discussion here over the last bunch of posts. I guess you didn't read the end of the thread. According to the recent posts, for the sig to work you have to be ranked in the top 150000 players which you do by scoring enough points, the guess for "enough" being 10 million points or so.

I'm up to about 17 million points now with 98 games played and a nice even 300 credits so I'm calling it a night. Hopefully that will get me on the list with the next ranking update. We'll see.

Edit: Oh, perhaps SynthLight could edit the first post and add this information to it? It would probably make things easier if all the relevant information about the sig were in one place.

120,116,155 points in 249 games... isn't that enough? i mean come on... do THAT many people really have over 120,000,000 points? cause the sig still doesn't work

i must really suck at ffr. lol

It sounds to me like the ranking updates have to be done manually so maybe they just haven't run the rank sorting program on the latest results yet. I think your 120 million points should get you in easily. I think I've seen people with around 30 million points have a working sig so you shouldn't have a problem. I'm not sure if I have enough points yet, but we'll see and if not, I'll get there in time.

Like I said before, I think that someone has to do it. It doesn't sound like it's an automatically scheduled cron job or something, but a person has to go in and run a program on the stats to determine the new rankings. I think whoever does that just hasn't done so recently.

I know what you mean. I'd kind of like to get mine working, too. I know I stink compared to most people here, but it would still be nice to have that stats sig. Well, about all I can say is hopefully they'll do another ranking update soon, especially if it's been a while since the last one.
