We can get to your place as early as say 4:30-5pm.

I guess I would rather leave my car at your place and then squeeze everyone into one car to go to Ann Arbor. Although if I end up picking up Jelly that might be impossible if Sprite and Manti are already going to be at your place.

Well, I might try to go, although it probably won't happen. Seems like the cheapest airfare is $206, and I dunno how my parents would like driving me out there. It's only 9 hours but I doubt that's good enough for them for FFR

Although I could almost definitely go if it were one week earlier, where I have a 7-day weekend. Dammit.

I could have an excuse to be gone for the weekend, but I don't know what I can do about being truant from school on Friday and the school calling home about it.

What I WANT to do is skip Friday and Monday of school, and drive to and from Ohio on those days, so I can have two days to do crap around there. But, I might have to get there Friday and leave Sunday morning or something. Not sure

And I'm also taking Spec, Edu, ipatch, colt or whoever wants me to take them if they're around here as long as they pay for some stuff. I'd advise anyone who's coming with me to bring around $300 cash or debit cards or something

Manti will drive anyone from NJ, eastern PA, deleware. I really don't care. If you want a ride, Leave me a PM. If you're coming from Nj/Ny you just need to get to my house. Which I'll send you my address if you PM me.

Yeah, unless the Florida you live in is Florida, Ohio (for real, it exists, about 15 minutes away from me), I can't help you out too much.

5 and a half hours from Bowling Green.
Half hour from the US/Canada border.

Anyone want to drive me?
;]

How much is registration anyways?
And will shirts ( if you bring them ) be the same cost as in the online store?

I won't stay overnight if I go, but would there be any other expenses?

Just wondering.
:]

Note to other Canadians:
I heard that we need passports to get into the United States now, as of this month.

You do not have to pay to get into Animarathon. The costs at the event are if you choose to buy raffle tickets for the prize drawing (how the club earns money to do things) or if you choose to buy something from a vendor. This also means you do not have to pre-register (but when you arrive, the organization does ask you sign in so they can keep tabs on the event attendence). The free admission is the great thing about attending the event and representing FFR.

With T-shirts, obviously, we do not charge shipping and handling while at an event. I won't give specific prices on shirts right now, though, because I don't want to speak for Synth and Jasonkey. Ultimately, they will decide how much to charge, but last year, yes, they were sold at a slightly lower price than from the online store.

With the volume of members planning to head out to the event, you might be able to share a hotel room if you are comfortable enough to do so at a low cost.

But, to sum it up, ultimately the cost of your trip is whatever you need for gas and food, and then tack on lodging if you plan on making it a weekend. In no way are you required to spend money at the event itself.
