That's because it's not really a game, it's just Simon Says. Look, I don't doubt talisman or his ability to run the alliance effectively, but between his apparent confusion about deceptive blue roles and the ease of a wolf faking a blue in this mystery game, I think talisman should either

• make a decision and stand behind it or
• release more information so the public can actually do something

I completely agree with this post, and my point is that questioning or going against what he says is bad. Looking to make your own calls, and play TWG how it was intended to be played (through deduction and picking apart posts) is exactly what we should be doing since we don't have anything else to go off of.

you guys are supposed to be debating between the three jewelers, which I've provided much info about. manticore very well may be lying to me but it's not worth the risk of his death at this point.

and I've made quite a bit of info public relative to what I know. all I haven't revealed is what one item does (because it's only useful to the wolves) and all of the roles in the game.

Talis, the only real way I see to make use of the Jeweler stuff is to try and catch one of them in a Socratic loop over AIM or something. Due to the nature of this mystery game, it is very possible that there are three green/blue jewelers out there. Just knowing what their roles do doesn't give us nearly enough to come to a good conclusion.

If I were in your position, I would probably just release the names of the jewelers. There are three of them, thus any given one is semi-disposable. And everyone knows how much I like making information public. But I suppose you are all going to go "NO THAT'S A HORRIBLE IDEA YOU RETARD" just like the last game which we lost horribly because the same sort of thing wasn't done 8)

also pps voting for dbp for trying to quash any and all actual discussion or reasoning that doesn't have something to do with 100% compliance with THE ALL KNOWING ALLIANCE HEAD!!!!! who may possibly even be on a dead end path of doom and destruction =o. I also suspsect that he may be terrified that people might listen to me this game and thus have a winning game for the humans (ie losing for the wolves oh noes), as when Fish said basically the same thing as me dbp had no problem with it.

The jewelers fiasco is pretty hard to make any decision on, and focusing on only one course of action is NEVER a good idea. While it should definitely be considered in today's lynch, it shouldn't be the only thing we work towards all day. Also, it's quite obvious from the "three" which doesn't belong, and you already know who is going to die if it DOES come down to a jeweler-based lynch.

So, now that I've established how I think this is currently happening, let me make it easier to defend myself and position. I'm the jeweler who seers as green/a human. Now that that's out there, let me explain a few (the only) possibilities as to my role being so out of place:


It's possible that it's just being construed as out of place; there are in fact three different seerings for each of us. Green, Blue, Illegal (I don't know if an illegal is actually seered as "illegal.") This is very sketchy, and I personally wouldn't believe this as it would mean there is no wolf trying to get into the alliance.

It's possible that the normal jeweler is a wolf, seeing as if he was you would have
a) A very powerful jeweler. (Illegal)
b) A not as powerful, albeit hidden jeweler. (Me.)


Now, the reason I came out is because I'm fairly sure that the wolves already know me (assuming one of the other jewelers are a wolf), mainly because talisman has stated many times I'm the best lynch candidate for today, and yet I've still been able to gain a good guess of who the illegal and blue jeweler's are, and while I wouldn't bet my house on it, if I were a wolf I'd bet my kill on it. I'm assuming the other two are privy to even more information than I, thusly knowing my name straight out if not having a fairly good guess at it.

A is thunder. He was protected from death last night by the hourei elixir which he still has. I was debating about making him public and I figure now that since he's bound to already be a top wolf candidate it probably doesn't matter. also I supposed it's possible that he's a wolf and was attacked only due to the attack on stoic, although as far as I know stoic's role did not have that kind of property associated with it. B I won't reveal obviously because B is illegal. C as we just found out is flaw.
