d0 = day 0, aka, the first starting day where people can post and make a lynch, unless it's night start, in which case it's usually n0 and then d1.

d0 is accepted as the shitpost phase from my understanding, because there is no hard mechanic information to follow in this phase. It is all gut, or slip-ups. You can't go back and look at someone else's reads because no one's roles have been revealed, so instead of analyzing those reads, people shitpost.

yeah ok, we don't have any mechanical information, but we can still make our own information
like, usually the mechanical information we have on d1 doesn't seem that relevant, and it ends up being reads based on interactions and guts anyway maybe I'm dead wrong and just haven't played enough games yet to become cynical towards the possible d0 information |

This is where some players piggy back off of 'pre-game META's'. Actions & performance based off of similar activity in previous games to make a read on someone. Most we can do right now is let everyone know when we like / dislike something, and tell others what we're thinking overall (reads lists), but stuff like that is generally difficult when a large majority has not contributed yet because it's d0. |

A secondary wolf objective (primary being having every town player die before them) is to blend in strategically to avoid suspicion. D0 being usually a meme phase before we can analyze lynches/mislynches, nightkills and interactions, it can reveal some players who either tried too hard to go with the flow or avoided posting altogether. In the previous game, I had a wolf read on svaz because it looked like she put up her shitposting roleplaying act just to sheep on DBP. Therefore memephase isn't worthless, and unless a wolf is absolutely terrible, it's gonna be a mislynch anyway, and it's usually not a big deal imo.

d0 mislynches.
They probably help more than actual lynches, depending on the game.

Yes, their primary goal is to reach parity: they want to have as many wolves left in the game as towns. So generally, they want to * lynch towns * not die and while "blending in strategically" can be a way to do this, it's certainly not the only way. Think of Haku, whose playstyle is so, I don't know, different, and yet who constantly gets read as town. It would be quite scary if Haku was able to channel that same playstyle as a wolf. So it probably ends up being a question of reading metas. Which is a problem, because many of the players here don't have a meta yet. damnit |

That's also a very big part of why you get killed early so fucking often lol And your point doesn't really affect mine (I agree, by the way), I'm saying that what the wolves may do in "meme phase" may look bad in the future, especially as the townies are slimming down. It doesn't matter if they're trying to channel their town metas, trying something else out or just avoiding being scumread, since the game is so dumb at this stage, they are likely to fuck up even more when we start taking it seriously. On a sidenote, I'll also say that right now, this is your best looking game, sanzath.

But I mean
when we're shitposting, we're pretty much not making any meaningful interactions or information and who does that benefit most? you guessed it the wolves SHITPOSTERS ARE ACTING AGAINST TOWN'S WINCON LYNCH ALL SHITPOSTERS |
