I think sunfan is a wolf because he is not interacting with riotpolice more than the previous games when he was a human. Of course I could be wrong but I'll go with that.

Usually if you're pairing with another mafia, you don't want to give the impression that you're working together. Obviously. So you'd probably want to make it clear early on that "I'm suspicious of this person." Just to dissociate yourself from your partner.

But that's really obvious to everybody. My immediate thought is "oh Sunfan is trying to make it seem like he's not with Xig."

I don't think players like them, who I imagine have lots of experience, would do something so stupid as to CLEARLY establish a fake negative relationship so early on in the game. So I genuinely think that they are not together. Reverse-reverse psychology, in other words.

But I'm open to suggestion.

Well, I guess what I said before is a bit off.

Sunfan is not a wolf if Xig is a wolf.

Oh yes yes, now I remember. Yes, I think that the possibility of sunfan/xiz being a wolf team is unlikely, but only a small possibility that they are together and busing each other. Unless if they are really together, then they are just playing us all for fools, otherwise I don't think that they are both wolves, just sunfan.

Dude, I think its his plan to call me "town" just so that I "feel" town but in all honesty it doesn't make me feel any better about myself just because sunfan called me town; like I need more input other than his so that I know actually know people know I'm town.

Let's narrow down the possibilities.

o Sunfan wolf, Xig wolf. As I said, this is unlikely.
o Sunfan wolf, Xig town. Maybe. I played another game with Sunfan, I don't remember him being this aggressive early on. That's my gut reaction. I'll have to reread that thread on FFYA. So I'm not sure. (But the early VT claim is worthy of note: could go both ways really.)
o Sunfan town, Xig wolf. Sunfan's pressing pretty hard? And it would be a really lucky guess on Sunfan's part to pursue Xig. Not sure what to think of Xig yet honestly... haven't seen him play, maybe he's always like this.
o Sunfan town, Xig town. This might seem weird, but this is where I lie for now. I want to wait and see.

I'd like to say that meta only really works long-run. People develop game-to-game, obviously. People try new strategies, it happens. Long-term players, I imagine, would tend to be more constant in their playstyles (change in roles notwithstanding).

So I'm not taking the Sunfan meta too seriously, I just want to put that out there.

I'm not too good at this yet, so I feel that most of this is pretty obvious already. But to answer your question, if I HAD to choose between the two of them right now, it'd be Sunfan.
