Re: The Fitness Thread
This entire documentary seems to be relying on anecdotes and shoddy science / skewed facts / etc.
I figured a critique HAD to have been written for this already, so I went looking for one and found this: http://whatdoesthesciencesay.wordpre...-check-part-1/ Also worth reading http://www.snopes.com/medical/toxins/aspartame.asp |

Re: The Fitness Thread
Well like I posted earlier this is something 'we' do not want you to know. Not surprised at all by that these false articles exist.

Are you one of those conspiracy-theory nuts? |

Re: The Fitness Thread
I feel better about telling the truth, have every reason to believe that artificial sweeteners & taste enhancers are detrimental to ones health. If you want to believe otherwise than this is your perspective. Just remember that it is always better to have both sides of a story so that you can choose between them using your own judgements. Thanks!

"Every reason to believe that's it detrimental" based on what, though?

What you SHOULD do though is have a bottle of water with you. Stay hydrated. Sip, don't guzzle. That will also give you cramps. If you plan on waking up in the mornings to run, I recommend eating something with carbs the night before. Don't go pasta crazy, but something that will give you energy for the run. Quote:

Re: The Fitness Thread
Just posted that so it would not seem like I am trying to push my views onto anyone, all have to use their own minds to decide for themselves. Persuading to agree with me would be useless.
P.S. Most protein bars are not very good for you, I tend to stay away from them. Last edited by LLaMaSaUceYup; 07-29-2013 at 03:21 PM.. |

Re: The Fitness Thread
The problem with all of this is you haven't listed a single scientific source. Nobody cares about random websites on the internet, because they're written by conspiracy theorists and nutjobs.
As a dentist, there's nothing wrong with regulated levels of fluoride in the water within cities. All of the *scientific* studies done on the subject recognize what levels of fluoride are safe and what aren't and fluoride levels coming from regulated sources have ppms well below toxic levels. This conspiracy is akin to people that believe amalgam is killing people. Sadly shit like this gets way more attention than it should though. It was even on Dr. Oz recently. What an idiot.

Re: The Fitness Thread
been having a tiny issue keeping up with my workout every single day recently. any pointers on how to keep going strong and not be like, "uuuggh i dun wanna todayyy"??
i imagine it's all in the mindset. i'm not a person who likes to slack or give up, but it can be difficult not to at times. |

Re: The Fitness Thread
Get some Organic green tea or drink a small pinch of Organic coffee. Bump music! Also it is nice to have something you do for fun in between workouts (or if you can make your workout fun in general) I usually go back & forth between juggling/ lifting so I never really have to take as many breaks.
P.S. Watch http://www.youtube.com/results?searc...be.7Ky-S13NM0I Elliot Hulse, he is hilarious. |
