Hm, is Monstrous Turtles a VC because of the stream?
Just wondering, I think it's a lot easier than almost all VC's.

The 32nd stream in MT makes it competent as a VC to me. The stream patterns get ugly.

yeah, idk why but i haven't been able to get less than four goods. i haven't tried for awhile since my comps are bugged/vista'd, but it's pretty tricky and fast, which is fun. the trills don't really matter tooo much though because they're just mini trills.

I think most people get goods on the mini runningmen. wut

I still think it should be a challenging anyway. Same reason Vertex BETA dropped from FMO to VC. The stream speed isn't any faster than Over the Frail Dream.

VB is longer stream. OtFD is short runs of stream.

Monstrous Turtles is basically as hard as Over the Frail Dream imo. Is all I was saying. I wasn't comparing OtFD to VB. VB dropped from FMO to VC after avmisses disappeared. MT should do the same.

But, probably most people (not including me), have difficulty with Monstrous Turtle's stream patterns which have minitrill/minirunningmen in it. Which is why it's a VC. From my persepctive, it's no different from OtFD now that avmisses are gone.

MT has way weirder patterns than OTFD.

Considering Carrousel Paradise is a 10, and that's only for weird patterns...I think MT fits as a 10.

MT is fine as a ten. long stream, weird patterns, and not sure about others... but i find the 32nd stream much harder to read than the identical 16th stream.

MT patterns aren't weird......they're index patterns.

I feel Garyuutensei and Szerencsetlen should both be low FMO's, but that's just me. They feel around that difficulty.

As for Monstrous, I think it should stay as a 10. Although it is 32nd stream, has short runningmen and awkward patterns in the stream, it's not too hard overall. Plus average-misses are gone, maybe back then it would be a low FMO, but it shall remain a VC IMO.

Garyuutensei is easier than Xeno-Flow.

Szerencsetlen is like Hajnal minus triple rolls.

Both fine VCs. FMO already scopes too much of a range. Going on -Spring Wind-/Choprite is borderline. There's already a big difference between Choprite and Piano Etude (Gymnastics) you know. But they're both FMOs.

EDIT: What EnR said... I don't find them awkward for spread anyway.

Ugh, stop calling the MT streams awkward. THEY'RE NOT. They're index streams. For an index player, spread patterns are awkward. so that means every kind of stream is awkward to someone which defeats the purpose of awkward streams.
