I sent them emails / tried to contact them but to no avail..

FFR R1 Simfile Judge

Hmmm?

I'm sure we could get a lot more Dubstep songs in FFR with this. Not sure about big labels though. If they released free EPs maybe?

Tass does not go to this site anymore, so please use ffrsubmissions@gmail.com to submit a file. File won't be reviewed until next batch.

Btw people, you CAN submit stuff still. The files will just move on to the next batch.

Should we receive submissions when batch is close (except for pre release fix of queue'd files)?

Since we don't need quicker turnover than it is currently, unless we want to release 10-20 files/week constantly.

I think the batch should remain close until notes are done, then give a period for judges to relax, then re-open. Except for resubmits for queued/conditional queued files.

5 judges left, we still have 12 days until the judgement deadline though.

This all depends on the amount of submission activity. Right now, it's pretty quiet, but I'm not sure if that's because people didn't know whether submissions were still allowed or whether there's really little activity going on.

Ok, going to make a decision then. With the exception of that one person's file above, submissions will remain closed until all judging is complete from the previous batch.

I was on the fence with this idea, but I think I'll support it again, mainly because it'll give people an equal amount of time to fix their files after seeing notes. If I release one group's notes before another, people with files from that group would have more time to fix their files, and that's not necessarily fair.

Considering we got 70-80 files in a week, current submission rate is still decent.
You have time and can work on your files if the batch submission is closed anyways.

As for resubmission, yeah there will be some unfairness due to the difference of judgement speed of judges.
