It's not like it ever died, either.

The biggest post-gap is like a week or two.

Guilty Gear confirmed for Wii.

I'll probably be using the Gamecube controls on that one. Most fighting games aren't ready for Wii controls. I hear Bleach was an amazing swordfighter 1v1 fighting game, but meh. After seeing Mortal Kombat try, I know it's not too great an idea. I'm still interested to see how Super Smash Bros. can do it.

Ok I don't know about one player but Mario Strikers is awesome muliplayer. Not online, just multiplayer. I haven't seen it online yet. My mate bought it and we played it all day yesterday. It's mad on all scales. I don't know how long it'll last but it was so fun. Half the time stuff was happening and goals were being scored and I didn't know what i was doing. Crap was either getting blown up or struck by lightning.

Just recieved RE4 Wii edition in the mail and have played up to (I think) two savepoints. This is the first time I've played absolutely any resident evil game and I'm pretty impressed. The only thing I dislike so far is you can't shoot while moving, so when I go into aiming mode I usually hold the stick forward which causes a direction change in my view that I really didn't want. Quick slashing with knife and reloading works out well once you get past the fact that you should've looked in the player's manual in the first place.
Not sure if it's worth the buy if you've already played it for the previous generation, but I sure am loving it myself.

We just got Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree. After about 2 hours of playing both multi- and single-playered, we're having a blast. Unfortunately, it has Warioware syndrome, only allowing up to two remotes when there are 4+ player minigames. It really does stretch your mind, but once you get the hang of the activities, it's a lot of fun. I'd recommend it perhaps for a rental, and if you really like it, then buy it.

Grr, that was the only problem I had with Warioware. I'll definitely rent it, maybe it won't be too much trouble passing it around with these games...

The only reason the game was delayed was to incorporate online play and make sure it functions properly.

Also, where we come from, claims like yours require a documented source.

I still only have Zelda for the Wii. I've looked at all reviews of every game that has come out since (albeit I played monkey ball at a friends) and not one game has even piqued a little bit of interest in me. This is absolutely terrible, and I'm ashamed of Nintendo right now. I'll continue to wait for a game to come out that I'll buy, mainly out of loyalty to Nintendo, but they better step it up.

Super Paper Mario is pretty fun.

Although I was a bit put off by the lack of good platforming fun.

And I still haven't finished it yet.

Yeah, because it's Nintendo's fault that games aren't coming out on their system fast enough.

They obviously don't send enough employees out to put pressure on slower third-party developers to put games out faster.

If all you wanted were LOL I KIL'd U LOL U SUX LOL HEADSHOT PWNED!!!!11111111111111 games then why didn't you get an Xbox 360? The only games on that console are first person shooters because there aren't any developers creative enough to think of anything unique nowadays.

Ever notice that M-rated shooters tend not to appear on Nintendo consoles?

Anyway, I'm glad there aren't many FPSes on Wii. It's a tired and overdone genre that only has a handful of solid titles out of thousands of games. On the other hand, Metroid Prime and Elebits managed to take the FPS genre into a whole new direction that works extremely well, so there may be hope for it.

The controls for Red Steel when I played it seemed pretty clumsy anyways, it was tough to concentrate on the awkward controls and what was happening in the game as well, but maybe that was just me.

It's already out.

Manhunt 2 was supposed to come out for the Wii, but it was going to get an AO rating. I guess it was really really bad, and almost every major chain gaming store wasn't going to sell it. It's going to cost another million dollars to alter the content so late to make it just an M game for the Wii. Nintendo is not kiddy.

Squeek: I wasn't soley referring to 3rd party developers. Where are all these awesome games from nintendo? Nintendo usually puts out great 1st party games, and I haven't found many. That is most definitely their fault, not the 3rd party developers.
