I want to make this more interesting for myself. I want to do one of the following two things:
1. Start playing the song an hour before the round ends 2. Only play the song for an hour when the round starts and never touch it again

not wise to get cocky during an event. you'll look like an ass and there's that slight risk of actually ****ing up while being cocky so you wont even have that "correct" aura to your cockyness.
JUST SAYIN PLAYA. pce |

But no, it isn't really out of cockiness.
It's just that I know what kind of person I am when it comes to accomplishments. If I really want to beat something, I relentlessly plug at something/study it/whore it/experiment/bukakkestorm it to death until I master it. In this tournament so far, people usually give the song a few whacks and call it good. If the other D5 contestants play like that, then it's going to be an easy victory for me, regardless of whether or not other players are actually better (e.g. leonid, EA, etc). I'm basically offsetting my position by making it more fun by limiting how much I whore a song.

I doubt they would do the same 10th round song for D5 two years running... I'm thinking Ja'i will be round 10. round 9 = ?_?

Schmoll is much easier than J'ai to PA, so I doubt that.
I have been hoping for a new song, personally.

Round 10 for each division is supposed to be a new, unreleased song, isn't it?

That's what I'm hoping. If they just settle for Schmallcock or Girth Piano, I'm gonna be upset.
