Cool. AncientMS also has 500x EXP rate, rebirth, and 300x meso/50x drop if I'm not mistaken. It's at v62 right now.

Anyone else play in private servers? They're actually better if all you want is to experience what being a high leveled character is like. My server's downsides are equip inventory filling way too quickly/not being able to do a lot of quests (not that many etc items) =P

I played on a Private Server that one of my friends made, so it was all people that I knew. It was really fun. But everyone stopped playing it so I went back to GMS. Level 53 Cleric, ew. On Scania, too. Training is seriously impossible.

In my opinion private servers ruin the game, I mean, sure you could make a 13x mage in like 15 minutes, but nobody would care, because its on a private server, and nobody would know about it, cause its not official. I mean, if your that lazy, just get some kickass hacks. Thats what I do

Meh, regular MS is pretty boring really and it doesn't get any more fun knowing your taking much much longer to level >.<. I pretty much took a break once I got level 180 in kradia.

Just now trying to get back into MS, but I'm having a bit of trouble downloading the game through its new "MS Downloader". It's only been able to download 19mb in 2 days, anyone know of a more direct download? or a way to speed this one up?

PS: Playing on a fresh PS called FutureMS; it's a good server, but they're having to wipe because the new source they added ****ed everything to a piece of ****, so everyone's having to start over soon. Oh well, there's at least some merit in the fact that EXP rates will probably be x1000 for a while, possibly. Still, I like FutureMS better than any other PS, mainly because it's kinda the only server I've been to. But still, I feel welcome playing FutureMS, simply because it feels like you're playing regular MS, except it's a private server and you're just hallucinating things.

Ok so I finally got my account back after not having played for over a year. Level 119 Dragon Knight, and mannnnnn I can already tell the this......is going to be a major addiction again. I got 50% exp in a little over 5 hours today, and still going. I want that 4th job. Bad.

I hit 120 finally 2 days ago. I was stupid though and used all 3 points, 1 in Maple Hero, 1 in Beholder, and 1 in Beholder's Aura. I wish I would have waited and put a point in Rush, because the next day I had run into Bigfoot, and after talking with a few people, I guess Dark Knights are one of the very few classes that can actually take on Bigfoot.
If I had Rush I would have been able to control him into a corner and stab him to death, But instead I ended up dying several times.

All this weekend they're having 2x exp for 2 hours a day. Today was from 4-6pm, and I got a 2x exp card to go with it, so it stacked to 4x exp, and ended up getting 154% exp at Himes. After the 2x was over, I went and did the Rush quest. I had hunted for the storybook at Taurospear for a few hours days prior, but no luck, so I cheated and used an Owl of Minerva and bought it for 10mil. Got Rush, and I have to say, it is an extremely useful skill. I was surprised at how well it worked even against big bosses like Papulatus. Haven't been able to try it on Bigfoot yet, but I will soon.

Does anyone else know about the Papulatus corner trick? I just had an amazing experience with a party at Pap... we had 6 people, all were above level 100, but below 120 except me, had 2 dk's, 1 cb, 1 hermit, 1 paladin, and a priest. We start our run and are attacking vigorously, the level 104 CB was afraid of being 1 hit KO'd, so we had him wait in the opposite corner of where we were, and drop mesos, then I would use rush to knock pap over to the pile of mesos. That worked fine and all for about 15% of his hp...then our priest died.....then the other dk died....and then the hermit and paladin dc'd, and it was me and the CB left. We thought we were pretty much done for, until I used rush and knocked him back into a corner, we got right in paps face and he started using whatever the hell that 6 hit combo move is.....and pap couldn't move.......at all. We pummeled the **** out of him and he never got a chance to do anything at all. We went a second time with just me the paladin and cb, and were able to utterly annihilate it again using the same method. It seriously took us about 25 mins to kill pap WITH 2 PEOPLE. I thought it was amazing, and have never seen any other parties use that method.

I think I used a total of maybe 20 hp pots for the second run, 17 of which were for the second body, and about 50 mp pots.

lol to contribute, i had 2 HT runs on Scania with my guild
one on my own account, the other on a friend's account. appx. 45 min runs back to back, like 10 min break in between so, the whole thing took about 2 hrs. I just play for kicks nowadays, pretty much 'finished' the game.

btw. random c rog runs is fun ;D

Man sometimes I wish for the old days with people like eb (yingyang) bandit larry etc. This game was so fun when everyone was on for like 2x exp and we would part and stuff.

ya this game was fun for like 2 yrs, when everyone just played for fun and theres actually new stuff looking forward to owning. Then all of a sudden bunch of ppl started coming it, and with them came the drama and other crap.
