Re: 6th Official FFR Tournament - Signups are closed!
Everyone in your division is playing for spots in the next round against everyone, there is no " X vs. Y" thing.

No it's not brackets and it's combo scoring like it has been every tourney.

Re: 6th Official FFR Tournament - Signups are closed!
It's being run like AJ's Halloween tournament, go check that thread if you want an idea. But his is Raw scoring (max combo not considered) while the official is going to be combo scoring.
You get eliminated because you are the worst in the division, not because you couldn't beat a certain individual on a song.

Re: 6th Official FFR Tournament - Signups are closed!
For those of you new to this, it's a gauntlet tournament. Everyone in your particular division is playing their own tournament (within the main hosted event, being the 6th Official Tournament), and everyone within the division is playing against each other, free for all. That's how a good majority of FFR's tournaments are run - you have the hosted event, sub-divided into divisions and all of those players play in their own tournament to determine the winner of that "group".
Just might be a good thing to clarify, even though a good majority of the players are familiar with how things are run. |

Suggestion - In the main post FAQ, might be worth putting the expected range of difficulties each division will be facing for easy reference. It's been mentioned in the thread already, just a pain to find.
Also, D2 is Star Wars, amarite? |

It's way more than just one shared IP. Next time PM me instead of running around posting on people's walls and in threads.
EDIT: I'm working on the IP checks. If you already know you share an IP with someone please message me with an explanation (this will save me some time later) As most of you probably remember we had a massive sandbagging issue in the last tourney. I'm trying to prevent this from happening again best I can.

They'll be posted once the tournament starts, and will be visible on the dashboard.

Re: 6th Official FFR Tournament - Signups are closed!
Sandbagging is when you show scores worse than you are actually capable of to be put into a lower division so you can win. We had a LOT of this last tournament.
