in my scenario the prs take a risk claiming to me but the chance that someone falsely claims is far lower, as if too many claim then we're either dealing with a wolf or toxic town.

in charu's scenario the risk of someone falsely "clearing" themselves for d1 at least is FAR FAR FAR GREATER. if a wolf is the one "homeless man" to out today and does all the interrogating etc. while the real prs sit back thinking he is real and the only other person willing to claim PR, that is terribly dangerous.

oh and I don't necessarily suggest that I coordinate everybody's night actions btw. that can be left to the homeless guys, that can be done by everybody in the thread, that can be done by everybody individually, that can be done between people they wish to OOT communicate with, i don't care. my idea is purely what I believe to be the safest and most efficient way for the HGs to find each other, if they so choose to.

I fail to see how his scenario is FAR FAR FAR GREATER at risk than yours. In his case, can't trust that the guy to come out isn't a wolf, and in your case nobody can trust you yet. They are pretty much equal.

something about dlgn's reads seem pre-meditated/unnatural. all the people in his town pile are people who have voiced caution but not outright disagreed with him. yes, he's reading storn for voting him but that seems to be because he thinks storn's confidence/not caring about image is towny.

imagine I am a wolf and that I identify who the HGs are. I can either share that information with whomever claims to me or not. assume the ?worse case that I don't. ok, so I know the town prs but don't know if I can convince anybody to do what I say going forward.

additionally i seem to have lost, or at least not garnered any, sway with the game at large, and as of rn appear to hold little influence over the all-important part of being a wolf - GETTING VILLAGE MISLYNCHED.

like who fucking cares if they know who a pr is if they die for it?

the alternative strategy proposed is FAR FAR FAR FAR FAR more dangerous as it is essentially suggesting one person, who could EASILY be a wolf, claim town mayor for the day and do "interrogations" and come back with thoughts and info later in the day when we are deciding on our lynch, which is an incredibly more influential position than I have proposed for myself (and again, to be clear, VERY EASILY DONE BY A WOLF FOR EXTREME REWARD)
